Start time for season race nights
« on: May 28, 2014, 08:04:28 PM »
I want to establish the earliest time we can start the "official" part of race nights - i.e. qualifying 1 - to suit everyone. There will always be a long practice session before the first qualifying session, for those that can get there earlier.

The problem with 7.45pm is for us poor Qld'ers that don't get DST every summer because of real people
that complain about cows getting the time wrong, curtains fading, and other stupid reasons.
The only legit excuse is that You don't want another hour of sunlight in the Summer due to heat.

What I was getting at is that means 6.45pm which is too close to dinner time.

Not to mention getting the kids off to bed and other stuff out of the way before settling down to a nights racing!
