You can join servers directly if you know the server IP. Open race.ini (in Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg), set the server IP in SERVER_IP parameter, save and exit. Now launch AssettoCorsa.exe with "/spawn" parameter (without quotes of course) and it will connect to the server without showing the launcher.
The Tuesday race server is:SERVER_IP=54.79.75.63
Practice server:SERVER_IP=52.63.217.129

Really recommend Content Manager as well as an alternative launcher for AC... gives you more options to tweak graphics and a tone of other goodies.

I tried it but found it more hassle then its worth, stock launcher does all I need which is find and launch a server and change game settings. I dont see anything I need for the launcher even if mine tends to stay on for days when I forget to close the launcher which I use in window mode.

I couldn't leave it alone...
I got it working. You need to edit your Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\race.ini, and set the following red lines. I also removed the server IP address and GUID, but you should have valid values in there already from the last server you joined. You have to have a valid REQUESTED_CAR too - something that is actually available on the server. Edit the race.ini file, then you can just run AssettoCorsa.exe as usual and you'll jump straight into the server.

I just double-click to launch stuff, how do you launch with a 'parameter'? ???

If you follow my last post, you don't need that spawn parameter any more. Just edit the race.ini and then run AC as usual.

Yep, since switching to Content Manager I couldn't possibly see myself going back. Just so much stuff that you can do, and even handles the basics way better than the standard UI.

You need to copy and paste those lines in. AC will set ACTIVE back to 0 every time, so you'll have to set it back to 1 whenever you want to jump straight to the server.
