Great fun night of racing even though i was dead tired and could barely keep my eyes open. Don't think i was able to pass anyone that hadn't run off the track.
Holding someone up was about the best i could manage. Sorry Phil. Lol
As Roo says you just can't use last weeks setup can you.

As others have said, I too had difficulties getting a setup to work here. The bumps unsettled the car in an inconsistent manner which continually caught me out. Thanks to Roo for his setup which was much better than anything I had come up with. Apologies to Rob and Grat for the contact and hopefully next week goes better.

Yeah, yeah. Love these cars and having a grid full of them looks stunning. Enjoyed last night very much. I think the big block was perfect howling down the back section of this track.
Definitely no flat spots in that motor!

Good close racing with humper and Joe in the second race as my second wind kicked in. Had a shocker first race and couldn't keep it together after the usual night shift jet lag feeling. Thanks to Bruce and Phil for an excellent season and to everyone else for the fun racing.
Yeah another very enjoyable night. Excellent racing Bueller thanks.
WD all for making Flattop's Thursdays such good night

Surprised there wasn't more carnage here. Could see right from the start I had no chance of catching Bird. A few laps in put a wheel in the gravel at the kink onto the front straight and Bueller plus Joe went by.
Couldn't catch those guys backup either so just lapped around by myself watching Wally closing on me and when i tried to pickup the pace i just ended up going slower. Unfortunately Wally had an incident and we never had the opportunity to see how he was going to get around me

Not really suited to the 'Vette, though.Check Phil's time Bacchulum, you just need some more practice . Plenty of fun was had on the practice server last night by the looks and now my time in the Daytona is no longer competitive . Is everyone else getting their car airborne? landing can be tricky !!!
Airborne? Yep. Sideways airborne tends to end poorly.
So whats Phils time then?
As for the bumping, I think 23 laps will be a challenge.

Really sad about missing last nights races
Aww Roo, felt so bad when you left last night. Could hear in your voice how disappointed you were. Hope you get a few more wins before the season's done.

Well done Humper and Roo on the race wins.
I did wait for you to recover and resume racing even though I felt that you had moved across onto me when I was up over the concrete apron on apex. I was surprised that you didn't give me any room at all. Sorry it ended up so badly it should have been a nothing rub that we both continued on from. Must be something to do with your puny fragile Pantera
