Roo, I think you are developing the wrong idea about Tuesday nights. We joke about racing for sheep stations for a bit of a laugh, but in reality, the vast majority are there to have fun and enjoy some good competitive racing.
Had a good race with couple of guys from France and Italy tonight Good fun theseSounds good, because the previous Caterham was just a little bit too sticky.
That's certainly happened on Tuesdays, where you get someone all keen and they race in one race only to discover they're way off the pace, so they don't come back. That's always going to happen to some degree. I don't know how much driver aids might help that lack of pace. It might be worth a try to allow TC and ABS even if the car doesn't normally allow it, where the experienced guys then wouldn't use it.
I find it interesting that there is other leagues out there ,that have been around for years running the same SIM and eventually die , but that is the members preference rather than join another league . Although I do like the fact that the standard of driving on Thursdays is VERY high with virtually no crash or crash through attitudes .I think often it ultimately just comes down to the day of the week, or how many nights a week people can make time to race, and so on. There are also Thursday night folks who don't race on Tuesdays, for example.
I think, when you consider the changes in tyre models, now up to 10, the number of mod cars and tracks, all of which can give different grip levels to the real thing, compared to only Kunos content we started with, yes it is different now. Plus one thing I ALWAYS have trouble with is the changes in grip level, to me it is always more pronounced than it would be IRL. I have never considered changes in grip level, when I used to race in my daily drive everywhere I drove, before the invention of speed cameras. They do make mention of the grip level in the Supercars coverage, often talking about the track rubbering up and getting gripper. What that actually feels like in real life, I have no idea.

Let's try a single hour race (46 laps).
Tyre wear will be 1.5x, to simulate wear over a real life race distance of 1hr30.
Tyre warmers will be ON.
