Happy Easter

yeah i might have to start practicing off line if too many others on the server wanting to race, Being the slow learner I am I need laps not races and 4 laps waiting for tyers to warm is boring and I find it hard to practice in short races where you only get 2 laps on decent tyers,

Nothing against the way marty has the server setup, i thank him for running the server,  just doesn't suit me is all

Are we supposed to stick with the same car for the whole season? I can't drive that M3 anymore.
we all have to swap after next race   ,  but if you are hating the car that's not fun so you or anyone can swap whenever :)

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Blue Flag Rules
« on: April 12, 2017, 11:18:59 AM »
Blue flag
This flag encourages a driver to move aside to allow faster traffic to pass.

A light blue flag, sometimes with a diagonal yellow, orange, or red stripe, informs a driver that a faster car is approaching and that the driver should move aside to allow one or more faster cars to pass. During a race, this would only be usually shown to a driver who is getting lapped but during practice or qualifying sessions, it could be shown to any driver. In most series, the blue flag is not mandatory—drivers obey it only as a courtesy to their fellow racers. As such, it is often referred to as the "courtesy flag". In other series, drivers get severely penalized for not yielding or for interfering with the leaders, including getting sent to the pits for the rest of the race. In Formula One, if the driver about to be lapped ignores three waved blue flags in a row, he is required to make a drive-through penalty. The blue flag may also be used to warn a driver that another car on the same lap is going to attempt to overtake them.

I love this track but it's deadly.
A lot of places are really bumpy, like the corners to the front straight - and if you run wide, you'll be sliding for a fair bit down the hill.  In a few places it's easy to hit a wall if you make a mistake, then spin back onto the track...

I remember from iRacing times that passing can be extremely treacherous.  Too many left-right-left kinda corners.  And tight ones, with nothing to spare.

yes saw some of biggest accidents in iracing at this track

yeah it was hard track to pass on Thursday

Mod Tracks / Re: Tuesday night mod tracks

Added Thruxton.

I would like to put Alastaro Circuit up for consideration. This is a scratch made track with laser scan data, has multiple layouts, and 24 pit boxes (40 pit boxes for the "Track Day" layout). I've driven a few races here with AI and there are no obvious problems, and apart from the replay cameras not being fantastic there aren't really any criticisms in the Race Department "reviews" section for it either.

 :)
I'm not a fan of it visually (quite barren), nor the layout, and the replay cams aren't very god.

I think its stunning  visually,  just look at the layout,  cant quite put my hand on it but it looks like something familiar

Thanks Bruce, Great Idea
