3 x 16 laps (track download)
This will be the only round with a qualifying session before race 1, which will only be short (10 mins). After that, everything will be a set, reverse grid. On the final right-hander, make every effort to keep at least 2 wheels to the right of the left kerb. Make sure you have the latest version of the PLP app downloaded from here. Let's do an identity parade/match the name to the photo thing, if you want. You can email me a photo of yourself at mastersonwally g mail, with your name, and I'll put together a collage of photos and names to match, to post here.

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Season 11: Toyota GT86 Season Info and Sign Up« on: March 20, 2016, 08:44:30 PM »
Season 11 features 20 minute, reverse grid sprint races in the Toyota GT86.
Season Schedule Round 1: Apr 5, Barbagallo, 3 x 16 laps [DOWNLOAD] Round 2: Apr 12, Magione, 3 x 13 laps Apr 19 - bye - Round 3: Apr 26, Zandvoort, 3 x 10 laps Round 4: May 3, Modena (Fast), 3 x 18 laps [DOWNLOAD] Round 5: May 10, Nurburgring Sprint (GT), 3 x 11 laps Round 6: May 17, Vallelunga Classic, 3 x 13 laps Race 1 prac/qual starts at 8:30pm Eastern time, and there is usually a long practice session before that, starting from around about 6:00pm. Round Format Each race is a full reverse grid race with no qualifying sessions (only round 1, race 1, has a qualifying session to set start order). Race 1 of a round is in reverse order of championship points standings, and races 2 and 3 are in reverse order of the previous race finish. Fuel and tyres are 1x and there are no compulsory pit stops. Points Points are 24, 23, 22 down to 1. Fastest lap in each race gets 1 point bonus. Penalties Every major infringement (e.g. avoidable rear hits, unsafe track re-entry causing accidents etc), will be awarded 150kg of penalty ballast for the 1st race only of the next round (150 kg is approximately 10 seconds over the whole race, but the time lost will vary from track to track). Every minor infringement (e.g. not leaving racing room and squeezing someone off the track) will be awarded 75 kg. Penalty ballast is cumulative - i.e. you might end up with more than 150 kg ballast for multiple infringements. Weather Weather will be taken from the Adelaide forecast on each actual race day. Races are at 9:30am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm. Track grip will simulate rainy conditions, according to the Adelaide forecast: Damp track - 85% grip Wet track - 75% grip Very wet track - 65% grip Sign Up 1. Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Mar 22 fun run: Lamborghini Countach at Luccaring« on: March 15, 2016, 11:00:32 PM »
Drive it like you stole it
Hurl the iconic Lamborghini Countach around the scenic streets of Lucca in Tuscany. 3 x 6 lap races at Luccaring (dropbox track download, faster than RD). The twist: Race 1 will allow only the Pirelli Cinturato tyres. Race 2 will allow only street tyres. Race 3 will allow only semislick tyres. As a guide, I've determined optimal tyre pressures as follows: Pirelli Cinturato 43, 44 45, 47 Street 29, 30 33, 35 Semislick 29, 30 33, 34 A word of caution: while there are some really nice fast drifting corners, there are also several very slow chicanes. Take care of your historic Countach! Each race will have a short, 8 minute qualifying session - time for only a couple of hot laps. There will be the usual long practice session before the first qually which is at the usual time of 8:30pm eastern DST. 850

RACE RESULTS
Apologies, my replay didn't capture the start of the race, so I can't check incidents. I know there were a few contacts early on. If anyone feels aggrieved, maybe Marty can take a look (assuming he has the start of the replay and decide some penalties). Round Points

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Poll: Season 11« on: March 09, 2016, 08:08:47 PM »
You can vote for up to 2 options, taken partly from ideas in the "Bucket List" thread.
Abarth 500 Assetto Corse Every race is a reverse grid race. Race 1, reverse grid by leaderboard (no qualifying, except for the very first race). Subsequent races reverse grid by previous race result. Something like 3 x 20 min sprints. Toyota GT86 Same format as the Abarth: every race is a reverse grid race. Race 1, reverse grid by leaderboard (no qualifying, except for the very first race). Subsequent races reverse grid by previous race result. Something like 3 x 20 min sprints. BMW M3 E92 Step1 vs BMW M4 Top half of the field, by season leaderboard, from round to round, get the slightly slower M3. Bottom half get the faster M4. The M3 is sort of 1 to 1.5-sh secs slower, so pretty even with the M4 when in the hands of the faster guys. Qualifying for race 1, following races in previous race finish order. Something like 3 x 20 min sprints. Lamborghini Countach Using just a little bit of calculated ballast from race to race to compress the field. NOTE: minimal ballast just to compress the field a little bit, not to try to get everyone to the middle performance like previous seasons. No reverse grids. Qualifying for race 1, following races in previous race finish order. Something like 3 x 20 min sprints. 854

Driver's Briefing
This is the final round, and the second of the enduros, same format as the round we did at Mugello. The format is a single race of 34 laps (about 1 hr), after a qualifying session. 2.5x fuel, and 3x tyres. There are TWO compulsory pit stops, where you can refuel, change tyres or repair. The pit window for the two CPS is laps 6 and 23. You can pit outside the pit window if you need to make repairs, or splash 'n dash, but you must do two pit stops in the pit window. DQ if you don't. Earliest you can enter pit lane is at the end of lap 6. The latest you can pit is the end of lap 23. The scoring is a little different in these format rounds: additional points (50 down to 1) are awarded for your position at the end of lap 14. So bear that in mind when you pit. Weather: 18 and Clear 855

RACE RESULTS (also includes contact report)
No penalties. An observation about the race 2 start: Simone hit the side of Christopheraser because Simone didn't stay on his side of the track at T1, moving across to the left of the track. Round Points
