Hardware & Reviews / Re: Need a laptop for my daughter...« on: October 07, 2016, 11:40:05 AM »
I have a Dell XPS 15 for work and it's pretty good. I still think my best laptop was my MSI gaming one. Win10 is fine, better than Win8, people just like to have a moan.

Great fun. These cars are great. As soon as you get loose you lose time but theyre easy to catch and fun to put sideways.
First 10 laps or so on GWs tail until I got too loose in the final turn and spun us. Sorry dude! After that I caught GW again but couldn't get passed so jumped in the pits hoping for an undercut. Definately didnt get one.. After the pit stop I chased Gratulin for the rest of the race which was great fun. Just couldnt get past and crossed the finish line slightly overlapped. 1623

Like Gentrack? 1625

Quite a tricky track this one. I did a few laps but was a couple of seconds off Grat's pace. I think I cut track for the first 10 laps every lap
The track boundaries seem a little off, after exiting and going to the outside the red area didn't seem to count as track, but the same red area inside some apexes you can go right over with no cut. 1626

I think I already owe Phil for the barrage of cockpit questions I had for him before, during and after my purchase

Cant remember I've not tried it yet, but it's this one http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/pitconfig.8032/ Last night I just used the manual put stop as it was only tyres, but just changing tyres takes forever. 1630

If you click the pin on the top right then the grey box should should become transparent.
It worked both times for me, and only showed up during the races. It was telling me when to close the gap and when to back off. Lights went green as soon as the leader crossed the line. I didn't see it telling me what position to be in, but I didn't get out of position at all, so maybe it only does that when you are out of position? 1631

Great night, love this track, pretty technical and if you get it wrong you're screwed.
R1 was pretty good overall. Was on the back of Nith for quite a while but then ran straight into Hornbag when he spun and got damage which put me quite off the pace. Slowly reeled Nith in again though with Gratulin and few others on my tail. Think I finished around 6th. R2 Nith got past me straight off the bat through what Grat called the corkscrew, then spent the first half of the race on his tail, but really hard to pass here, and we both had areas where each other was quicker so it wasn't gonna happen. Jumped into the pits hoping for an undercut. Not sure if I'd have got it as a few laps later I had to retire to go get the baby.... think I was in 5th at the time. Stupid baby! 1632

I'll chuck this version of Suzuka on the server tomorrow unless anyone knows of a better version. I just tried this one and is okay, a few bumps here and there.
