Thank you!
For the long races we'll think about it later or you think 2 stops will do? 1038

I have done the test: I am short by a bit less than half a lap. If we do a 14 laps race I should make it...
Phil is on the same car, maybe he can confirm? 1039

It is the estimate after a two long stints. Yellow light turned on after 12 laps or so...

Wally: it seems like I can only do 14.5 laps on the practice servers... I do not know if I am doing something wrong, but this is what I get. With refueling not allowed, I could not finish the race.

Very good to be back racing! First sprint was a bit solitary, but good to get a bit more consistent with the new car. Second race was a bit of a messy one for me, but fun.
Wally: I tried the SCG003 last night and it felt quite good---perhaps a tad too predictable, but could get loose enough to have some fun. I'll go with it. Thank you. 1042

OK, thank you. If I can't make it for the first sprint, I'll join for the later ones.

Is it not homologated only because of production numbers rules? In that case we might really not care...

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Poll: Do you want to use the S9 ballast system again?« on: November 25, 2015, 11:41:58 PM »
I add myself to those who say that the swings were excessive and that while the ballast system was designed to compress times a bit it ended up by mixing the order too much. As GB said: not a criticism of Wally's work, which is great. Just a point about the current implementation.
Regarding GB's comment that we should try to work more on understanding the effects: I tried to offer some work, but was rejected. Personally: I prefer to lose knowing I lost against somebody better than me than winning a lottery. That's why I still watch F1 while I do not get series with too much bop and ballast or pure lotteries like NASCAR. |
