Yeah he was  . I'm reasonably cautious at starts and trying not to outbrake myself and get off slow corners without looping it means I was a bit slower than I'd like. I know I made it hard for you because I kept seeing you getting hassled by a couple of others every time I slowed you up.
The car got a lot better after about four laps and that's when I felt confident enough to go faster.  Good chase Russ, and good driving at the start when I guess you would have been getting a little frustrated.

Lots of practice for this one so I was hoping for a top ten qualifying position.
I managed to pull out a good lap and manged second. I was pretty happy with that.

Race 1: I got away well with Rolz at the start with Freezer on my bumper. There were two corners where I had trouble and could never seem to get consistently right, the right hander up the hill before the hairpin and the hairpin itself. My entry speed was a little down to try and get good exits, and it let Freezer get onto the back of my and past. I couldn't catch Rolz, but thought I might be able to get back past Freezer........I couldn't catch him.
Russ G kept me honest for the rest of the race and I drove consistently for third.

Race 2: Got away well with Rolz again but had to slot in behind him. I chased him for a while and the heavy fuel load saw him have a it of an off through the esses and I find myself in the lead. I nearly had a heart attack I was that excited. It didn't last and Freezers consistent pace had him past me again.
I thought at that stage that I should be able to hang on for third because I saw Rolz was back on track and 2-3 tenths faster......then my mind started wandering and I completely lost concentration for half a lap or so, and lost it in the esses. That lost me a heap of time and two positions, so I ended up in fourth. I started driving consistently again, but couldn't bridge the gap back to Diehard.

I had a really good night but for the lapse in concentration.

Race 1 was fantastic.

Race 2 I got balked at the start and couldn't get back into the conga line on the racing line until I was 18th or something. I got back into a rhythm and was having a merry old time until I lost concentration, and went off the track having a spin which dropped me back to 22nd or something. I got going again and was trying to get by Shameless when he had a spin at turn one. I couldn't avoid him and t-boned him. Unfortunately for some leaders I couldn't find reverse fast enough and got hit, which screwed their cars and mine. Sorry, but I was trying to not be parked there.  No ones fault really, it was just bad luck, and timing.

I still had fun regardless. These cars are fun to drive............................even if they do have a roof, and no wings.

Bit of an eventful event.

In race 1 noticed an accident on the last corner of the first lap so slowed down a bit more than usual. Unfortunately Doobs did not appreciate my caution.

Nah I appreciated it Mael, I was just blind to the accident  and unfortunately, not fast enough to react to your caution. Sorry for the tail end but there wasn't much I could do. I didn't see the trouble ahead until I almost hit you, or I would have been showing the same caution.

Race 1: After the accident I was way off anybody and after I pitted to fix damage, didn't notice that my pitstop was on NO CHANGE for the tyres, until the repair under way icon came up. So I went around for a few more laps and then pitted to change tyres. I came last.

Race 2: Was a much better start with some really good racing. I passed a few people who were having accidents and ended up in a good position. There as some really good racing, and I thought it was one of my better ones for the season.

Simone did scare me into a mistake, but then drove off the circuit again...That was hairy and I copped a cut track due to the avoidance. I didn't say anything, I didn't think it would be fair. Hard luck Simone, apart from scaring me a little you were also half a second faster so I thought the pass was inevitable. Hard luck mate.

Thanks for the season, I loved the open wheelers. I'm not much faster in them  but enjoy driving them a heap more than any Uber.

I had a bad night. I was a long way off the pace, and just couldn't get it together at all.
I still enjoyed the driving, but I can't do my best here, and my best is needed to finish around the middle of the pack.

Race one: Sorry if I balked anyone with my lap one spin.....I caught a little bit of grass and round it went and it was just dumb luck that I didn't hit anyone. I can't really remember what happened after that, except that I made a couple of pitstops because I made mistakes and hit the walls. Can't remember where I finished.

Race two: I couldn't believe my luck; a car landed on me. I saw it in the air and thought I might still make it underneath.....I didn't. I was a little peeved, not at the accident, but just my luck to be the one that got squashed. No biggie from my point of view Dave O, there's not much you can do about a car performing a one and a half pike, and trying to stick a landing on another car's roll bar. 
I pitted, drove a bit, hit a wall, pitted, drove a bit more and finished somewhere, and some good racing on the way.

I thought it would be easier on you to make it for both, so you have a same handling car for both races. 25% restrictor only shaves a fraction of a second off the lap time.

That doesn't worry me Wally, I'll be working on an unrestricted setup as well for my homies.
