I didn't want to mess around with ac too much yet so I don't have to change everything back for tomorrow night, pc2 I can program a wheel button. Sometimes loading up a game pc2 or acc and the menu is like it's a couple of metres below me and I can't find a way to centre it in acc

Arrived today, found a new use for project cars 2, the game is actually not bad with the vr headset. I've only had minimal use with the headset so far but it seems pretty good. Need more time to fine tune all the settings and work out an easy way to reset centre. PC2 and ACC feel good with it. Screen door is annoying but the immersion factor out weighs it. So far very good for casual/fun racing for me, I'll definitely use it on Thursday

Awesome first race minimal mistakes, real close racing with freezer and Joe. At one stage for almost a full lap (it seemed like) the two of them were side by side and I couldn't get past, awesome racing guys. Finished 4th great result for me for a change.
So...that meant I was on pole for second race, not realising it until on the grid, overwhelming last minute pressure lol. Got a clean start and looked all clear in helicorsa so I shot across towards the apex into turn one but I think I caught someone out a bit by doing so, very sorry and glad there wasn't a major. Calmness I had in the first race was no longer there and started to make a few minor mistakes drifting wide into barriers a few times, also missing gears didn't help. The car damage was yellow front, left, rear, engine and gearbox. Another off track adventure end of the back straight with bacchulum (sorry) right on my rear bumper, I'm glad that one also didn't end bad but I lost more places. Then, when the race timer says two laps to go, race engineer says you're running on fumes. With a bit of a buffer I backed off trying to save fuel and maintain position, 6th.
Excellent first race, shocker second race (driving wise) but good fun thanks guys.

Does it look better than the s7/gear vr, I suppose it's easier to get going too?

Bought my gpu from B&H arrived within 5 working days (but over a weekend).
I tried the poor man's vr with gear vr, took a while to get it going and then only over heated my galaxy s7 (same resolution as this unit?) so couldn't use it and gave up, I really didn't like how bad the screen door and blurring looking down the straight aways was. It was cool sitting in car and looking around though

I think they might be thinking with super wide monitors available, put in the too hard basket.

I've got a 34in uw while it is better than a single 16:9 it's still nowhere near triples, the 49inch Samsung's I guess would be good if you can't fit triples. Hoping the pimax's aren't too expensive.

These are good fun, the track is great also. Turned up late and hadn't tested at all but with bacchulums set up (first one on the list) and a couple of laps I was good to go. Got some pretty good lap times after a while and in the last race was punted off early but came back hunting for bacchulum, couldn't get there though.
I think these cars would be cool on bikernikie track and would go close to replicating that video of the Russian shitbox race someone posted, cool stuff thanks guys

Good fun while it lasted, made a few small mistakes running a bit wide on the exit of some corners, minor damage, didn't slow me. Then did another, brushed a fence on exit and it dragged me through it, ended up flipping under the map and couldn't get back to pits...all over
