Apps / Re: VR mirror app from GTPlanet new
« on: August 30, 2018, 05:18:57 AM »
I haven't tried these apps but usually you can just drag the files from your downloads to an open window of cm and cm sorts it out (from the 3 line menu icon in cm) it could be different for this app however

I'm not sure everyone is using helicorsa/car radar because some of the incidents that I've seen unfold in front of me seem almost like one party does not realise there is someone so close, I know these apps aren't perfect and could also be partially to blame. On the flip side it can be just (innocent or not) mistakes, I know I I've had plenty of those, reality is we're not pros (no offence). Remaining calm is difficult sometimes but is necessary to at least enjoy the racing. I'll never be in championship contention because I can only race every second round (and I'm not fast enough) but I'm here for the racing and it's actually a lot of fun being mid pack. I often watched races on TV thinking how crap it me be for the guys always mid field or at back but seriously it's about racing because we enjoy the thrill of it, winning isn't everything despite what they say lol.

Wasn't that keen on these cars to begin with but warmed up to them from bikernike track onward so the season was pretty good all in all. I do however prefer (any) race cars over road cars, particularly one's with diff/trans whine and a whole lot of snap crackle and pop from the engine/exhaust, even the cars with squeaks inside the cab (don't think it's the actual suspension, is it?). Anyways..
R1 bumped into Russ near turn 1? but was because I had someone else right onto me as well, sorry. Ran most of the race behind ab156 was a lot of fun we only traded places when we made a mistake. I also let bacchulum go by when I spun toward the end of the race.
R2 tee-boned Russ when he'd spun (sorry again) In the middle of the pack had nowhere to go. The rest of the race was kinda lonely.
R3 tee-boned Freezer when he'd spun (sorry) similar situation but not sure which way to go. Tailing Wally for most of this race and really didn't think I'd get chance to pass but finally got a good run out of the last turn which set up a draft and clean move up the inside of turn 1, bad luck on the spin after that Wally. Also a little distracted by Daveo's open mic for most of this race, is there a way to use push to talk?
As always great racing with you guys despite the incidents, thanks again for the great fun.

At those prices I don't know if the previous gen will be cheaper, at least for new, second hand maybe as people upgrade. Apparently nvidia is way over stocked on the old gen and they'll want full price for them, maybe some spot sales who knows. Keep an eye out at ozbargain.com.au

with a 1080Ti currently, I'm not interested in these new ones, too expensive for not a huge bump in performance.

Given what fanatec said in the email, they must have manually ended a few auctions early.

Out of about 17? Most were between 1400-1500, a few between 400-800, with a couple of lucky ones at a $1. I under estimated the demand for near retail prices, a discount is still a discount though. I connected to the flaky wifi in the pit at work and with the traffic at their end I had no chance.
