Pre-March 2020 Brissie is gone for good...
I can't agree with that, life here is still the same as it always has been, for me. ???

Same. Even managed to get my first vaccine last week, sadly did not grow an extra arm  ;D
Don't give up hope, mate. There were no long-term tests done...so, who knows...just give it some time ;)

Hey guys, yeah, this situation here in Australia gets a bit out of hand imo. Well, and I don't like where this is heading either. So, I decided to leave...destination Buzios, Brazil...and that's the reason I stopped doing sim racing. This whole thing is quite a challenge...dealing with 3 lawyers atm in order to get this sorted...and I don't know if they let me out of here...that's the tricky bit. Wally, I'll let you know once this is final. Time difference is 13h...so if I fall out of bed I might join you again if the ping is not too crappy. Just wanna say thanks. Take care
Totally agree with your sentiment . . . there's a lot of crap going down here!  Shame to see you go but good luck, should be a good adventure!
Yeah, and I expect a lot more crap to come...and staying here will be probably an adventure as well ;). Pre-March 2020 Brissie is gone for good...and I don't have words for what's going on in Sydney and Melbourne. Big deal doing this during these crazy times. The whole thing is still WIP, but I'm putting in a lot of effort.

Wow, that's a big move. Good luck!
Cheers Wally.

Ok, thanks. I don't use content manager.

Sorry, what is CSP 0.1.63?

If that's representative the Toyota seems to be the better option...can't remember having raced either of them.

Formula sounds good...for a change.
Why not something fast? I'd go for the Ferrari F2004...maybe 3 short sprints.
Only downside is, it's got a bit of downforce...nah, that's a good thing ;)

Yeah, I'm not much of a fan of these cars. I think it was Bridgehampton, which really was great fun, but there were a few tracks that didn't suit my Mustang setup at all...Road America was, well, just f'd...the braking caused me a lot of trouble and a few times others were suffering from that too. There was a situation where I was close to losing the car racing side-by-side with Brad here at Sebring, but we were lucky and it didn't end up in drama.
However, plenty of close racing and side-by-side action with Brad. I knew he would get me, but I was able to delay this pass a bit...haha.
Wally managed to pass me while pitting...dunno how, because I really thought I had a good pit stop for a change. That doesn't happen very often.
So, I thought, ok, that's it...didn't expect to be fast enough to overtake him. It was his mistake in the S's, which pretty much got me P2 overall. Well, on the other hand, I made plenty of them in previous races myself...didn't finish quite a number of races.
Congrats to Brad for the championship win...pretty dominant performance...well done!

Getting a checksum.

This is my race 3 crash. I came into the chicane too hot behind Brad, and didn't want to rear-end him, so I veered left, and spun on the grass into the tyre barrier. Sitting there waiting for a safe re-entry, I see a red and white Firebird coming straight towards me...

Wow...amazing driving skills...he made it look like an accident  ;)
Some fun racing. Apologies to (I think) AKG for running into you...lost the car when braking into this chicane.

Apologies for the nudge in R1, Able...misjudged your braking there...was thinking be careful and brake a bit earlier...hmm...slow thinking...bad execution...dunno.
Start in R1 was average...maybe because of the additional weight on board.
Good start in R2. I was able to pull away and build up a decent gap...yeah, my glorious pit stop spinning the car when entering f'd this one up.
Struggled to find my rhythm after that...some pressure and close racing with Wally then.
Congrats to Brad...pristine racing!

...Brad missed me, but the next car tapped me, sending me pirouetting to the back of the field...

Yeah, that was me...no way avoiding running into you there. Caused quite a bit of damage...steering was off for the rest of the race...
This track was great fun in these cars.
Funny thing in R2 when Bueller turned me around. He redressed, it seemed Dietmar was polite waiting and not taking advantage out of this situation...then Freezer came along...blasting past all of us into the lead...haha.
Apologies for the nudge in R3, Mael.

I made some setup changes to prevent what will from now on be called the "Killa Flick" an alternative to the Scandinavian flick   ;D   Made me slow but at least could stay on the round unlike my fellow late braking companions.

It looked spectacular in the mirror Killargorilla!
...

Haha...yeah, it's practice...done the same thing at the same spot a few laps earlier following Wally.
Weird things going on there. I thought I've got braking from high speeds somewhat under control, but this spot really messed me up. I think it's a combination of lack of driving skills, modded track and modded car...is what it is...don't wanna whinge too much ;)
Doing some work on my rig...rumble motors on throttle and brake pedal for slip and lock up and 4 transducers run on extension mode...really looking forward to getting this finally up and running. Believe it or not, had those brand new amps and the bass shakers lying around for 5 years or so...just too lazy welding up some brackets.
Have fun the rest of the season.

Had a look at the results...great racing, Brad. You certainly proved the '65 Mustang is driveable.
I'm done for this season. Just don't enjoy driving these cars.
Wally, re this incident during qualy, the way I see it, I left you the racing line and didn't interfere in any way when you're going for the apex...you had all the chances doing a good lap. Being on a crap line I logically must have been rather slow there coming out of this turn. However, you went very wide and slow, so I then was suddenly right next to you going a bit faster up the hill. I doubt I screwed up this lap of yours...at least I thought at this point in time it couldn't have been a particularly good one.
