I think (barely) the 787 on the server may be the mod 787 not the kunos one - when both installed they look basically identical but the kunos one in the cars file is in the folder KS_not_a_rotor_not_a_motor

great night at my end
had one qualli lap with the better than 99% CPU usage before getting that sorted - then managed to hit the inside edge of the bridge at masta very lightly on lap 2 then very not lightly on lap 3 or so resulting on a significant off into a house. Car was off centre but drivable so i thought i might finish. A lap or so later had an off exiting Blanchimont into fence then again at Clubhouse. Worried I would ruin someone else's race I spent a time in the pits with a hammer fixing things before going out and straight into someones house at Burnenville resulting in tantrum + rage quit Congrats to Joe and everyone else - was a good time in these old VWs 50

Is that a mod car? Maybe the checksum files aren't on the server. If it's a mod, I won't include it.Thanks for season 24 Wally!I'll put up proper download links and everything soon. There is a mod 787 and a kunos one from the mazda pack - i deleted the mod one and still same - that or the short tail is looking the goer out of the box atm 51

was a bit concerned about the wet race basically having to do a new setup on the car but managed to seek out the grip - karting wet lines everywhere and paying a lot of attention to grip coming and going made the race hella intense - high levels of concentration to not have big offs - for 'faking' the wet track its pretty damn good
race 2 was luck and luck only - would have been tight at the front but for the tangle in front of me on turn one - kept it together but took a good few laps to get used to having grip again lol 53

This is mine from the test run back in sep good sir - you can see the benefits gained from engagement of the flux capacitor between turns 3 and 4

Man i am ruined - that was the best racing ive had in a while against matt in that last race - that flat section through the uphill left kink is terrifying when all you can see in front is the other car - equally terrifying is arriving 2 wide through turn one on a car exiting the pits lol
good race guys 57

Well, of course, I can be wrong. Strangely enough just that race wasn't recorded so I still don't really know what exactly happened. You're a good racer, so if it really was my fault then please accept my apologies. ROFL ^ extra championship point for that one 58

Sorry all - lacking a bit of quality in my driving this week - apologies to Phil for R2 (took avoiding action up the inside to the hairpin due to braking a bit too late and was hoping to miss you and Jeremy but didnt - hopefully my redressing didint get in peoples way thereafter) - also apologies to Matt on R3 in the first complex (light touch as a result of me being a bit optimistic up the inside resulting in a tank slapper - again sorry to others if my redressing this incident then got in the way)
Otherwise good times 59

Lol all good mate - I made enough mistakes of my own so it kinda just blended in Ballsy / lucky - I kinda stuck the car there as a result of it being the only car sized gap to put the thing when it wasnt pulling up under cold tyres ! 60

Thanks for a great season all - really enjoy these old things ... anyone up for a season in the old Maserati F1 cars.....?
Spent a hell of a lot of laps on this one to ensure i had a fighting chance over race distance against Phil who is always better on fuel (Tyrell seems to be an early Tesla) and I hate low downforce things luckily it all worked out with a breath of fuel in it across the line Really enjoying the seasons here - keen for the next one Thanks again guys |
