Last questions while I try and make a decision, 24's or 27's and if your rig packed it in, would you say triples are a must and replace them or be content with a 32" single and Trackir?

I would really struggle going back to just one screen again.

I love the triples, but I basically passed from a tv a bit far away from me to triples all at once, so my comparison is heavily biased...

You can never go back from triples to one monitor. I have 3 x 27"

As a recent convert to triples, I couldn't imagine anything else already. Have no idea how I ever managed with a single.

3x24 is 'enough' ( which I have) but 3x27 is better if you can afford it. Remember that the inches aren't what really counts if it doesn't also have more pixels. Also, you need to drive the extra pixels for the 3x27.

I picked up 3x 27inch Benq gw2760s for just under $300 each... only 1080p, but over 3 screens it sure is awesome.

this was over 12 months ago so I'm sure better bargains out now...

Just think of the bezel... less is best :)

TrackIR is great but can be a bit fidgety in racing. You need to have it set for no other light to hit the sensor. Also great for FPS and Flight sims. In Arma 3 peoples heads actually move around to where they are looking from the trackir. It's sort of freaky but cool.

Decided to, 34" curved screen + TrackIR, new AMD card when next gen comes out and then gen 2 of Oculus rift later down the track. I think Oculus will take off.

Rift. Is that what you were asking? I bought the rift, thought I would give it a go. If I don't like it I will flip and try the Vive. If I don't like that I will go back to my 4k LG oled :)
