As I can't see myself being able to adjust to different cars I suspect I will be sticking with the '69 Javelin all season.

If you want to install just unpack to: assettocorsa\content\cars\ac_legends_ta_javelin_1969\skins

Just put a time up for Willow Springs. Took 1/100th out of Bacchulum, but looking at the graph the speeds for each of us are all over the shop......
I expect a bit of nudging to take place at the springs...... :o

Reading latest CSP notes...

- Extended physics for cars:
  - Option to use real mass online to improve collisions for heavy cars;

Its in beta at the moment but I would love to try it out sometime to see if it takes away the "minor bump and you are off" syndrom.

With the amount of improvements being made it is becoming a new sim. Full notes here > https://gist.github.com/gro-ove/f4cdbfebe8be031ddd3a5e2713f339ba

Per chat with the Thursday night guys, part of the issue at these "Sprint" events is mirror management with the  year old Cup cars that are in the same session.  Can get "interesting" if you lose momentum (i.e drive like Fred Flinstone) at the wrong spot.

Finally made my debut at Winton. Never been too interested in going based on sim / layout however turned out to be very educational.

Main thing is managing entry speed, through the "cleavage" but mainly in T10 and T11 you can see I am far too aggressive on entry which costs mid and exit speed.

My entry into the sweeper is a bit embarrassing, always looks much slower on video, should be up a gear and 10kp/h. I get more confident mid to exit as the run continues however the exit ripple strip on the right looks terrifying when at the limit of front grip.

These three laps were chasing Fitzy in his "slightly"  ??? modified 718, different class car, good fun.

Finally, the dash lap time and overlay have different timing points. The incar uses the V8 (new) start / finish, club and video use the old start / finish (old),

My money will be on Rob in the DKW for a clean sweep ;D.

Normal service has been resumed. Last or near last for all 4 races!

My throttle pedal lost calibration during practice, so I couldn't figure out why I was losing 2 seconds a lap. Started making lots of setup changes looking for the lost time. I realized the problem during race 1 and spent the rest of the night trying to come to grips with a car that had about 20% more power. A night I really want to forget. I knew I should have just watched the footie.
Sorry Rob, I jinxed you :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Well, Rob forgot to mention that as soon as he fixed the pedals he was right on the pace.  This issue was it is virtually impossible to make a clean pass at this track and almost impossible not to either have your own incident or get caught up in someone elses! Normal service to resume next week  ;D

I hope they let you run the international configuration

If running the international 8, 9 an 10 are epic but you really need to attack the kerb in 10 otherwise you will run out of road on the exit. 11 can be a bit tricky also, getting the car stable AND lined up for braking is tough so normally end up sacrificing a bit to make exit of 12 better. Then late, late braking into 13 which has a late apex and blink exit .... you get the idea, it's a fun place to drive. Oh, then there is 15, never did see the apex there  ::)

If you do end up doing the west course you will still get 5, 9 (15 int).

Either way, enjoy the day.

Almost chocked on my Wheeties this morning when I read the email. Effectively talking about procedural generation of tyres in the future. Amazing.

Is there any limit...  (well, not having to restart the server just to set a grid would be nice)
