Air temp...well, it's not mentioned that it must match, is it?  I've set it to 26 for the other challenge and left it there.  :/
I saw it mentioned somewhere, maybe on your arse.
Post, I mean.

It is clearly stated for the other rank (the formula abarth one) - not for this, though.

Guys, check it out. You can already enable AI, by editing a file as per this post: http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/ai-videos.4809/#post-52609

Then you can start a quick race with AI. They take off, but there's no logic to them yet - they just drive off and crash. But it's still good to see effect on FPS etc. And it's cool to see other cars on track with you :)

It kills FPS.

How long should drivers take to install?!?!?!
It's been going half an hour and not even close. >:(

Scared that if I shut it down I lose monitors and therefore access to the PC........ :-\

You can shut it down, restart in safe mode, uninstall the old drivers, and reinstall the new one.
If a driver install goes wrong, all you get is a very low resolution windows built-in driver, that's all.  Happened to me a few times.

Oh, and depending on the driver and your computer it shall be done in a minute to a few minutes. I'd say 5 min tops.

I believe it did install, at least it says it's the new driver, so it must just have been the countdown window (or whatever you call it) that stalled at 25%. :-\
Hopefully that's the case.

Well, if you have any problems, you can always reinstall it.  I suggest a clean reinstall, if you need to do it.

AI update via Facebook:

Quote
Aristotelis Vasilakos As you've probably have guessed by now, tomorrow update of Assetto Corsa will include the first taste of AI. In order to contain the hype and lower expectations, let's focus on the word "taste".

For this first AI update, we won't give you the complete grid AI enabled. There will only be some special events quick races, with some cars on some tracks that will give you a taste as I said of Ai races.
I know that everybody wants the full monty, but I'm also sure that you understand that we need to test the performance of the AI on various systems, check for bugs, improve it and so on. It is far easier for us to do so on some specific scenarios, than having to control the whole Assetto Corsa grid at once.

We're pretty satisfied with how AI is coming along, but we also want to make it better and that's exactly what we're going to do once the update is out. We will collect your impressions and reports and work our asses for the next update to make them even better and offer you as soon as possible the whole AI functionality. I'm pretty confident you're going to like what you will experience tomorrow and I'm sure you will be hungry for more. Tiny bit of patience and we will deliver, you know already that we are listening and working constantly on this.

As a side note, of course you're going to get a couple of new cars and some new upgrades too, plus a complete rework of our tyre model (yikes!)... it's subtle, nothing too drastic, but we think you'll like it even more.

Ok back to work to put the final touches on tomorrows update, thanks for listening
