That'll take some work. Even doing donuts over and over, I think the highest I've seen is around 270. Might have to drop the pressures and make some choice tweaks to the gearing to get to 300.

I was going to make a thread but it doesn't seem worth it so I'll C&P what I had written:

For the tight arses among us, the Dream Pack is on sale for $10.50 along with the base game at $25 or $33 for both together. A good opportunity for anyone you might know sitting on the fence. A number of you probably don't check Steam too often and nobody should miss out on the beautiful laser scanner Nordschelife  8)

The list of sign ups is already looking pretty long. I'll probably only be able to make it to the first couple of races so if you could put me down as reserve in The Ferrari that'd be great  :D

I appear to have been missed :-[

I believe that was me! This season at Nurburging GP if I recall correctly. My issue was that an extra person joined for the last race making the server full. I had full servers filtered out but the first two races were at 23/24 capacity the server showed up in the list. I think we were a few men down for the third race this week but I doubt that was your exact issue. It might have been a different filter?

I was going to ask if the server was passworded for race 3 in relation to the grid order being set but I think I'm confused because myself and a few other silly sausages joined the practice server at first ::)

As much as I love the cockpit of the ferrari due to joystick I'll have to go with the Mclaren thanks.

Don't forget the mid-season car swap is mandatory so you'll be in the Ferrari eventually anyway.

Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: Thursday May 7th 'tween Seasons...

This sounds similar to the ARSE Friday night fun nights we were discussing on TS the other night. Should make for some good fun. I can imagine there'll be a few big wrecks as these cars can be a bit tricky ;D Will damage be turned on?

not so good on the Ferrari team plan.

Nonsense, the Ferrari Army fought valiantly! Just not valiantly enough ;) Stan, Guy, Marty, race three was a blast. Grubbet (I think) was leading for what must've been half the race and it was a shame he had a bit of an off because getting past him with my engine glowing red raw would've been a hell of a challenge.
Congrats to Jeremy on races 1 and 2 and the season overall. :)

Thanks again to Wally for another superbly organised season.

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Season 7 cars

With the GT cars, would it not be better to base the pecking order of cars and assign the handicaps/boosts relative to where the next race is? Although the average times may lay the cars out in that order, it seems a reasonable possibility given the broad variety of cars that someone could be assigned a faster/slower car for race 2 given their results in race 1 only to find that that particular car is at an advantage/disadvantage at race 2 resulting is a boost/handicap that would, in the end, not help to promote closer racing. Just my 2 cents.

How many laps for the races, Wally? :)

Assetto Corsa / Re: How long have you been sim racing?

Assetto is my first sim so I'm at precisely 622 hours and counting over the coarse of just over a year.

You don't know how much I would love for us to do just one lap of Nords in the Robins.

A man named Phil has an appropriate sig.  ;D

If you want to set something up along those lines on your server, then go ahead Marty. .

Yes, and while you're at it scrap all the other cars, lets just make it an all Nismo grid? ;) That car is an absolute riot at the ring and is the reason I'm posting at 1AM. I was going to bed an hour ago but couldn't resist one more lap.. one more lap.. one.. more...  ::)

Not the best night for me. Went back to pits in race one as I was stuffing gear changes everywhere and was frustrated with myself and worried I'd en up ruining someone else's races. Race two I was still have a lot of trouble and blew the engine in the end which did little to improve my mood. So race three I took off the try hard panties both figuratively and literally. I swapped the jeans for shorts (I work up the sweats in these races :o) and took off my shoes. They have a nice wide toe which can help with heel-toeing but not with pedal feel. I wanted to start from the back for race three and take my time.

This ended up being a load more fun and I got involved in a few dices and heavy traffic at points. It was great to see a mix of totally different cars battling it out and the racing was closer than I had thought it would be given the spread of cars.
Sadly on around lap three or four at turn two I moved over into someone who was on the inside. I did ask on TS after the race but I'm not sure who it was. They were in a Bimmer or Merc. At the time they apologised took the blame but it was certainly my fault. My attention was on what was happening to my right and I never even looked to my rear/left. Even so, I think the whole pack must have slowed down to avoid further carnage and so it appears nobody lost out too badly.
