Race 1 was a long battle with Bafs, I managed to pass before the stops but could never pull away.
I got the Hunted award, and it was Bafs hunting. 8)

Race 2 only lasted until Birds shunt.
I thought I had the room to get by but he slammed my rear end.
Detroyed rear wing, both suspensions, engine, gearbox.... well, the only thing NOT red was front left susp. (it was merely orange).
Sorry to whoever hit me afterwards, but I was powerless at that point and couldn't move. :(

Doesn't matter how quick repairs are when you can't get back to the pits. :-[

Why do you always suggest people think "can't win, give up" Marty? ???
If I'm way out the back, I hotlap and hope others have issues for 1 or 2 spots.
I never think "there really wont be much point continuing in the race", I just think "that's racing".

It's not my work so I take no credit, it's just Ronnie Peterson's car with my helmet added. 8)
(so I know who is me in replays ;) )

News / Re: The Australian Pricing for the GTX 1080 is here

They charge Australians more because Australians will pay more. ::)
(well, not me)

Or are they just protecting the price of the 900 series. They've dropped considerably but nowhere near what they would have if the 1080 had of been priced according to the exchange rate. Not that I'm ever going to afford either of course..... ;D ;D ;D
But that's why the 900 series was priced so high in the first place. ;)

I can see the text, that's not the problem.
It's a consequence of having all that info in one app, it has to be crowded together.
Like I said, I'll get used to where everything is eventually. ;)

But if the races are too short people won't get a chance to get to grips with the car. :-\

Just gave it a go.
A lot more info than miniapps but kind of crowded and difficult to see. :-\
I will persist as it may be solved with familiarity. 8)

The C9 produces good downforce at pace, it has rather large tunnels. ;)
It's just a real pig at slow speed when the tunnels don't work.
The wings can't compensate because, as grat points out, it's the LeMons spec, so they're basically trim devices. :(
Good power though, even at 70% boost. 8)

No steering lock change, but maybe a bit of 'throttle steer' (basically spinning up the rear to turn it).

The MTX is a nice, stable car.
Easy to push, a bit under powered per grip, but has that historic feel to it. 8)

He could drive a piece of shit fast! 8)
He was always oversteery and when Gilles Villeneuve saw him said "I want to drive like that". :-X
He also honoured his word when he signed as #2 to Andretti. 8)

"Ronnie drives absolutely flat-out, all the time, If he's off the pace, then it might be the car. Not him."
Colin Chapman

"That would be a bloody fantastic spectacle, I can tell you. We would take corners one gear lower than we do now, and get the cars sideways. You know, people still rave about Ronnie Peterson in a Lotus 72, and I understand that. I agree with them. That's the kind of entertainment I want to give the crowds. Smoke the tyres ! Yeah ! "
Gilles Villeneuve discussing his ideal car and driver.

Yeah, my all time favourite driver, Ronnie Peterson, drove the 72D so there's no way I'm not driving one. ;)

Talking about the GT86: are you watching the GT86 races supporting the V8supercars today (fox sport 5)? Although the cars are a bit different, they look exactly like our races (crashes included) and they interview some of the invited drivers during the race, which is quite fun.
And I was surprised at the size of the field. :o

Do we have to use both cars?
 ???
