I love the Cobra, would be happy to do another season in it. Much tougher to drive than the M3 though I assume.
lol I think you might be right!
the m3 has the cornering but the cobra has the top speed. both have equal acceleration from 0-100 but the cobra cant pull away too much from the m3. I'd like to test it on the server with more than just the 2 of us though to see how it goes.

Thanks Bruce. I'm more than happy with the video quality, most the time is spent finding the battles and accidents to make the videos interesting.

Great video, I wish I could remember what colour car I was driving, although I do know it was at the back of the field.
I was lucky to be in a Castrol car, otherwise it was hard to tell.
As there was at least 2 cars of most liveries it was hard to know who was driving what. Shame there's no app or mod I've seen that can make the player tags permanently display. Personally though I think it would ruin the video somewhat. in GTL and GTR2 if I remember right, at the start of the race the game would walk down the grid from one end to almost the other and I used to label each player as it did that in the final video. I also used to have graphics of each car with player name in the opening credits and finishing positions at the end credits. Thanks guys. I hope I caught most of the action. When I did the league videos I would spend 2-3hrs sifting through the replay watching the same sections of the track from different cars and angles to pick the best one to put in the video. I can quite often have upwards of 150-200gb of video files from one race to go into the highlights video. If you want more videos I wouldn't say no to members giving me a time in the replay and what car they were in if they would like to see something like a battle or accident they were involved in put in the video.

Finally after about 7 hours of sifting through the replay, recording, editing, rendering and uploading, the finished video is now on youtube. It's been a while since I made a highlights video of an entire race so a little rusty, but this at least gives you an idea. I used to make videos for xgn gtl and gtr2 season races. I unfortunately lost them all years ago (mumbles something about vista install).
It's in 1080p and high quality so it looks awesome full screen, other quality options available.

Most apps won't work in replay mode, so aren't helpful.
Driver names can be turned on with 'ctrl-L' (labels) although this doesn't work on my install others tell me it works. 
yeah Ctrl - L works to toggle names on/off the only issue with this is they are not permanently on. using tv cams you only see names fade in when the cars are close enough. in Chase cam you can see the names of all the cars close but not the car the cam is focused on lol.. unlike GTL/GTR2 days where driver names were just shown permanently in any cam and could be toggled on/off. Anyway I found you Bacchulum (took 2 minutes lol) so now I've recorded the end clip for the race. Sorry to 2nd and 3rd you don't show crossing the line in the video.

Joined in for race 2 and surprisingly with a joystick managed to have a pretty stable car and a 1:22 during the race. Scary moment when I had a car either side of me in the braking zone at turn one. I decided to let them both go through and avoid an accident. Aiming to start recording the replay for a video, which should be on youtube before the next race.

Both myself and unfknblievable are pulling out of the season.. as said previously, I enjoy these cars but not in the race.

No one I believe is questioning your job or time you put in Wally.
I did watch the replay but was more focused on Tom than myself as I was helping him. I'm not attempting to single anyone out here either.
I said disgrace because all of us in this season should have enough experience in how to take turn 1 without incident.. I've raced here before and I've run a season here before and have had plenty of race seasons over several games without a single incident in turn 1, even the first entire lap.
I know we all make mistakes, me included, and I know incidents happen every race.. but it's not rocket science to take it slower to the first corner and be in a lower gear than usual around the first corner so you have complete control over braking and acceleration.. It's those that are pushing too hard (regardless of how fast the car is) on cold tyres.. I for one don't enjoy sprint races because I think it promotes it.
I guess I'm just tired trying to do the right thing on the track and paying for it race after race due to others carelessness..

I'm still not sure I'm calm enough to post after last nights disgrace.. how many times do members have to be told to take it easy for at least the first few corners before they wake up.. This is more like a public server than League racing.
Yet another start where people don't listen and are trying to push their way through the pack on the first corner..
Attached is a screenshot that shows Rob about to hit UnFknBLievable under brakes from behind in the first corner, sorry Rob but thats a penalty. I thought maybe he then tapped me off, I was mistaken.. both Perch and Joe (red and white ferraris) not paying attention scaping paint, side hit each other and I got tapped off as a result of it. People need to start paying attention and learn some racing etiquette.
I don't know how many times it's been said "you can't win a race in the first corner" yet people are still pushing.. Sprint racing seems to be a major cause of this or so I thought.. but no 15 lap race wasn't much better.
