Messages - Bacchulum
I've been trying to follow and learn something from this thread but it's now just turned into gobble-de-gook.
It reminds me I only know the car bit of sim-racing, not the computer bit (hence my attempt to learn).

Phil, if there are no strong objections, could we change the track for the last round to this one+1
A nice track, easy to learn, with the quality of Kicevo (I like their tarmac texture ).
Something new in a season of repeats.

Having to be engineer as well as driver can sometimes take the fun out of it a little, particularly when feels like you're not getting any where with it no matter what you do lolI disagree entirely!
Most of the time I'm only doing laps to see how the changes worked (learning the track happens incidentally), engineering is the best bit.

Best race of the season so far.
Completed the race with full power.

Gonna be a long race, with 3600 laps.
Broke my AC.
Loads the track, all cars, then stops working, online and offline.
Going through "file verification" now.
Might not be this, could be Group 4 & 5, but they're the only 2 things I've changed from last night.
(and I haven't even tried to load Group 4 & 5 yet)

Another great night of Shitbox racing . Is Bacchulum actually driving the same car as the rest of us ? . He pulled off a pass with me when we were entering one of the chicanes that looked impossible . I just watched a replay of R1 from Bacchulum's car , well done Rob to hold him off for so long .You played a 50% role in getting through that chicken, it wasn't all me.
And yeah, I had to go all "Aussie cricket team" and resort to the headlights to get Rob to break.

You're right Killa, you were visible peripherally, and I'd conceded the place but didn't want to lose more.
I was focused on the car directly in front of me (used to the the "stay your side" rule) and was surprised when you started to fill the gap.
That's all, didn't mean it.
The penalty can stand, I don't care about that, I'm about a minute away from anyone else so it's a spit in the ocean.

Bacchulum collided with the rear of killagorilla, sending him off track – penalty.Yeah, sorry Killa.
I wasn't even trying to pass, just focusing on the car in front.
I didn't even see you until you turned in, tried to back out but it was just too late.
I also take from this ruling that the "stay on your side for turns 1 & 2" rule is now obsolete?

Made a mistake about 15mins in, caused body damage but nothing else.
Then whilst recovering, still off the pace with dirty tyres, I was dive bombed into a corner, destroying my right front suspension.
Lost a lap limping back to the pits, lost another one getting repairs, but still had to pit again (too early to have enough room in the tank to get to the end).
I'd already done plenty of hotlaps, not interested in doing another 45mins worth.
