I had problems with the audio in the 2nd race, too. You can't fault my computer, it's a late model, and the headphones are simply plugged into the sound card, so... We had a thought that it might have been the server somehow, so we'll try a beefier one. But it could be some setting somewhere...

I've even given you a link - you can change the size there.  Get either one of Intel, Samsung, or Crucial (the one in the link), steer way clear of ocz, there are serious reliability issues around that one. These three are definitely good. The price/performance ratio sweet spot it seems is the one I've linked in for you. Plus it's a good size so you don't need to keep a data drive for normal usage.

It's all right, we're here for fun. I've disabled a competitor, too, I think BJ was on the receiving end of my bumper once when he was very slow onto the back straight  WRT the handling: street cars might just be like that - not that I've driven any such high powered cars on the track Having said that, the mclaren did not feel too bad in this regard. We've been discussing it last time, too, that you really need to tuck these into the corners, otherwise you're done for; if you overshoot, you won't be able to get on the throttle in time.

Steve, 42, wife + one 2.5yo daughter. Been racing online since LFS1. IT developer & business owner. I've had the pleasure to run the XGN GTL league on and off (great times!). But I don't have the time nor the inclination to do that any more; I just enjoy the friendly atmosphere here and help out with administration. I'm from Hungary originally, if anyone is wondering about the heavy accent. I came to here too late to learn the language properly, so I'm still learning. This maybe one reason I hate those who trash it on forums too much. And I'm getting grumpy with age, no denying it. I think I've driven/raced nearly every sim that came out earlier (even bought GPL retro), lately I'm not so keen; eg I'm not buying into simbin titles anymore, they don't seem to improve, and while I've bought rF2 & CARS, and I find them all right, I don't think I'll need anything besides AC for a good while . I don't watch too much racing nowadays. I don't like F1. The problem with V8 is that every time I switch on Lowndes loses a race (even if he was going well before in the season) plus the races are too long. I like speedweek for the club-like atmosphere, but their camera and reporter work can be shocking sometimes. And the occasional "other" - like European touring car sprint races. Those are sweet & short.

Actually, Wally said he'd like to get those longs ones off the front page  I didn't quite like them either, mind you, so it's two flies with one swat - they were simply too long. Too much scrolling to get to the good stuff. I'm wondering, if there's any way to cut the display length of front-page articles - that'd eliminate the sort of problems we saw here. ps pls give me a smite, my perfectly evil karma is off again!
