Are these cars the same physics that we used last time or do I need to to download them again? I know what I had worked on the practice server this afternoon but I wanted to check

is this up on the practice server, I cant seem to find it on CM...????

WTF we finally convince two Luddites to throw away their "sabots" and their first experience of the new technology is a disaster :'(
From memory from a long time ago I vaguely recall experiencing this issue of overbright display and I "think" I resolved it by turning off Post Processing in the basic Assetto Corsa video options. I no longer have to do this and am running Post Processing but I cannot remember what the permanent fix was.  Hope this helps.

You are entitled to your opinion, however I don't like the fact that I've been forced to move away a method which worked to a totally different platform which clearly has some issues....it's near on impossible to see when driving towards the sun! Apart from completely uninstalling both CM and AC I am at a loss of how to fix this problem

After trying Wally's settings yesterday nothing has changed (for me) so I guess this luddite won't be racing as much as I'd like if being forced to use CM this is going to be the norm....

I installed,  now every track looks like a bright sunny cartoon,   might be playing mario kart, cant tell now

Yeah I found similar issues with Malaysia and it didn’t seem to matter which shader I used nothing changed, yet when I drove the same track in a different car and didn’t use CM it looked normal again. I’m not sure what the bug is but I worked out that it was something to do with CM….I must admit I’m hesitant in rejoining this season if this is going to happen every week

I'm not going to make it this week (nephews birthday) so I'll plan to be back for round 3. Happy racing!

Good nights racing. Got the loneliest award for both races but must say it certainly did not feel lonely!   :D

I’m not sure what the algorithm is looking for but I thought we had a massive batter for the best part of 1/2 that second race…it was really challenging because my Audi has epic corner speed but absolutely nothing off the corner

thanks Wally for all your help sorting out my CM problems last night, these cars could be fun as them seemed to be very easy to drive close to each other which was not what I was expecting from a GT car

Ok Wally, I’ve never used content manager, no idea what it is/does as AC is so easy to just paste things into and they usually work….as for the custom shader patch I’ve got no idea what that is either, looks like I’ve got a bit to do before dinner, so I may or may not be racing tonight

I’ve just been having a play with your updated mod for the TA-2 and it’s quite a noticeable change. All along I’ve been using the setup Wally posted and I found using that set up with the current version the tyres seemed far more lifelike. I found now that the tyres take a couple of laps to get temp and then over heat very quickly if the right foot is abused. I would liken this current update to be more like driving on a wet track until the tyres get temp and then it’s still very skatey into and through the corner it I don’t mind that as you’ve got to actually control the car rather than just point and shoot like a GT style car. Of the three versions I’ve driven I’d call this my favourite because it’s the most challenging to drive.

I can't get these cars to load... every single car crashed before I even got to the track.... :-[
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing changes....

These were pretty awesome once I got my head around how to drive them. Thanks Wally for the set up and that plus the patch dramatically improved my driving experience. Beforehand the cars felt a little 'playstaionish' where I could just turn the wheel and mash the throttle, they felt like they needed another 200hp! NOW I'm trail braking, power sliding, opposite locking all over the place and they are rather challenging but still catchable. Plus with that V8 note I can let my inner bogan loose !!!

I put my setup on stracker. I got a lot more rotation out of the car by softening the front and stiffening the rear.

these cars aren't  bad! I'd love to try a set up as all I've tried is diff ratios........what is stracker  :-\ ???

My (not so) little man has turned 12 today so I’ll be an apology for tonight. Thanks for all the work you’ve done with the season Wally

Well that was rather boring  :-[ In race one my car went hard left in the middle of right kink whilst being closely followed on the back straight and then in race two it demolished itself into a wall just after the rollercoaster very early into the race....interesting to note that the rollercoaster wasn't running last night....I eventually limped back to the pits for a 1minute+ stop for repairs and then tried softs for the first time. I learn a little, but I don't think there was much to be gained over a race distance...... I think I was a little too generous whilst being lapped as each time I moved over I lost 2+sec/lap, which became a little frustrating as several times I moved over for a leading car only to see them spin off or then pit forcing me to repeat the process and lose even more time....I think next time I will wait a lot longer before moving over as I think I was starting to wave the leaders past a little bit too soon, despite AC waving the blues once a car got within 4 seconds of me. Hopefully next weeks track is better suited to the raging bull

I think I've invested too much time into the Lambo to swap now, but some extra lead in those 550's wouldn't hurt them
