I hope they do a good job, because AC needs more open wheelers of this style. I'd love a Formula Ford too.

I've been pestering these guys to do a Formula Ford or similar car for a long time, but they assure me it's not in their plans.

It really surprises me that no one is doing an entry level open-wheeler, as a) They are some of the most fun cars to drive, and b) It is probably the only category type that AC doesn't have anything in.

This is what we want but it will take a while to develop. However, the quality looks good. Physics is always the challenge because you need real world data.

Pretty fantastic!! Have added this to the "AUS XGN Thursday Cobra Cup PRACTICE" server at Spa. Wow! It's fun to drive around there.

Experimented with the experimental gyro setting:

"Exactly, you can also try to enable gyro on assetto_corsa.ini located at assettocorsa/system/cfg/ folder, like this:

[FF_EXPERIMENTAL]
ENABLE_GYRO=1
DAMPER_MIN_LEVEL=0.0"

Seems more "rattle" and heavier with this set on for me?

I'm downloading it now. I have had some brilliant battles in the rf2 version of these, so this is going to be very interesting.

Everything about it is gob smacking,  but the FFB is no good IMO.

I've had to neuter my settings so my wheel doesn't rattle to bits (and anyone who has heard me on TS knows I can put up with some rattling!).   Even then though the FFB feels way too light in slower corners and way too stiff in faster corners so you can't get a decent balance even when adjusting Gain.

I don't think there is anything VS can do about it either as it would mean adjusting suspension geometry.  Hopefully Kunos release better FFB tools.

Still good fun though,  but with a better range of FFB it would be perfect.

I had no FFB problems.
I have gyro=1, min FFB level = 0.08, damper=100% in my wheel's control panel. Gain set with the FFB clipping tool. 82% I think it was. I get no rattling.
I've also set the min force with the wheel check program some time ago.

I also have no problem.

G27 Logitech profiler:
Rotation = 900%,
Overall Effect Strength = 100%,
everything else 0

AC:
Gain = 100%
Min Force = 12%
Steering Gamma = 1.00 (minimum)
Brake gamma = 2.47 ( for GTeye Spring mod)
Everything else zero

I have tried Gyro both ways. Currently like it on.

I can get it not to rattle everywhere but doesn't change the FFB being weak in slow corners and too strong in fast corners.  I might try Gyro on again and see if I can get it to make a difference that way.

They actually remind me a lot of the rfactor version of the same car. With the slow corner feedback being way to weak.
