All the cars are great, drive nicely and sound cool (except for the BMW which sounds just as much like a sewing machine as it did in GTL). The Daytona is LOUD. It should be a great season.
I couldn't drive the Porsche Carrera though - I got lots of errors about missing kn5 files.

Wally, read the readme file.

You have to copy some files from the Porsche DLC Pack.

Love al the cars I've tried. They all handle and sound different. Should be a great Season (or two)

I've done a handful of laps in each car at Riverside Short until I could put in consistent laps. Only changed gears and tyre pressures from default setups. Here are my times:

BMW CSL 1:25.5
Capri 1:25.5
Daytona 1:25.7
Pantera 1:25.9
Ferrari 365 1:26.2
Nissan GT-R 1:26.4
Porsche 906 1:26.8
Porsche RSR 1:27.7
Corvette 69 1:28.2
Corvette 67 1:28.9

Thanks Wally, shows there is some inbuilt handicapping available if the faster drivers are happy driving the slower cars. One problem I can see is car selection for the server, I think every driver will need to nominate a car/cars that they will drive, to avoid a nightmare for Phil in setting up the server.
I am still very impressed at how good this MOD is :) :) :).

Looks like I'm driving a Corvette then.
I did want a Pantera, but only because I'm a f*#@in' hostile cowboy from hell with a great southern trend kill. 8)

I did few ai races with some of these cars on the same track, never driven on it before, my times where similar in each car just not as fast. Great mod and a fun track.  The GT40 feels like the Lola, not my cup of tea, achieved 1.29 although the first car on the track.
GTR, CAPRI, DAYTONA 1.26.xx, probably the easiest cars to drive.
Ferrari 1.27.xx, sounds faster than it is.
RSR74 1.29, felt like it wanted turn around and drive the other way.
Gave up on the 69 vett
