I found this a couple weeks ago and tested it out and it, atleast to me seems to work pretty well, but I cant find the link to the download anywhere but I have uploaded it to dropbox if you want to test it out.

Hopefully we can run it in a fun run some time because it is fun to drive.

I will put it up on one of my public servers to give it a bit of a test run.

Was good fun, only main issue with the mod is shifter vs paddles is quite different like 2 different trucks. At first I was in the shifter and was pulling away pretty easy on upshifts so I tried paddles. There is a noticeable shift delay and so I was losing about .6 down the back straight between turns 6 and 7 with paddles at Bards. But the funny thing is downshifts with the shifter are fairly tricky not Alfa brutal but shifting a little early gets it into neutral, with paddles I was much better under brakes and downshifting is pretty simple. You just press the gear down and it will always find the gear even if a little early, so laptime wise I was only .25 slower with paddles.

There is more time to gain with a shifter though as I didn't have much confidence in it needing to brake quite smoothly, with paddles id just fling it into corners with the rear sliding. Very controllable car in a slide which is not that common with mods, Ive never driven any racing truck and it was able to do mid 1:04's at Barbs so not far off what we did last nite in the Cobras.
