Might finally be a worthy upgrade from a 1080Ti, hopefully they don't gouge us too hard in oz. Apparently 1100ish is rrp but I bet they'll be around 1500 or more, we'll see

The 3090 will be available for $2429, the 3080 for $1139, and the 3070 from $809

Those are aus prices.

Apparently the 3070 out performs a 2080ti

Perfect VR with no "screen door effect"  and max graphics settings, is now a reality for roughly $2200, with a 3080 and  a HP Reverb Pro G2  ;D

Nvidia claims that the 3070 is more capable than the 2080 Ti, so it’s no surprise that when Digital Foundry tested the RTX 3080 in a number of games (admittedly chosen by Nvidia), it recorded regular results of 60 to 90% performance improvement over an RTX 2080 — in 4K with ray tracing enabled and disabled. That would suggest that it could be as much as 40% faster than the 2080 Ti. Based on its CUDA core count and similar clockspeed, the RTX 3090 could be 70 to 80% faster than the 2080 Ti.

Apparently the 3070 out performs a 2080ti

Getting your hands on one will be the problem.

Yeah most likely! And as Bueller said we often get inflated prices anyway. I'm happy with my 2070 super I don't really need an upgrade. Unless I really need Red Dead 2 4k HDR 120fps?
