Car - Estonia-3
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/estonia-3.20410/

It was first serial formula car in USSR constructed by A. Seiler and V. Paazik. Estonia-3 based on early car - Estonia-1 (by A. Seiler, 1958). First car was build at 1959. Serial production started at end of 1960. 36 cars was build to 1962. Prototype for all early TARK cars (E-1, E-2 and E-3) was british Cooper's formula-3 50's cars. But british cars was more fastly than TARK's cars, because TARK's had weakly engines and had more mass. Estonia-3 was Formula-3 (International and Soviet union classification) and Formula-4 (Soviet union classification after 1964) car.
There is only one Estonia-3 car in Moscow today. All another cars is lost.

Considering the size of our fields I'd say the shortest one. However, yet to try it.

Could we keep Bikernieki as back up, in case one of the season tracks fail any testing? :'(
So yeah bring the season forward, depending on other members views of course. ;)

On that note, if anyone has the time please run some quick tests with said tracks. :-*

;) Races better not be more than six laps as the engines takes damage at top speed. Each lap with the throttle pinned on the main straight costs 15% engine life.  :o

I was not a fan of these cars initially, but I have warmed to them, especially after setting fastest lap with my new Thrustmaster TS-XW Sparco wheel ;D ;D ;D.

what's the wheel like, how does it compare to your old one ?

I am thinking of grabbing one of these,
https://www.fanatec.com/au-en/wheel-bases/podium-wheel-base-dd1-aus.html
or
https://www.fanatec.com/au-en/wheel-bases/podium-wheel-base-dd2-aus.html
Would prefer the dd2, But not sure if its worth the extra money, I will try and get one at a bit better price during the auction

After 12 years using a G25 and then a G27 for a few weeks this is something else, the larger diameter rim itself, makes it feel more like a real car ,and the smoothness is also very nice, just a big improvement over the G25/27, which is hard to put into words, but you are more aware of the movement of the car itself :) :) :). I found the  Thrustmaster wheel in a Cash Converters store ( usually stocked with stolen goods) and it was in the original packaging and got it for $650 , I just had to find out what a high level wheel would be like and I am glad I did ;D ;D ;D

Sadly I could never justify a Direct Drive wheel, as I have to have the FF set very low these days to prevent RSI problems, but I would be very tempted to try one  8) 8) 8) 8). Fanatec DD1 or DD2 , what would the difference be between them :-\ :-\ :-\

Good to hear you're enjoying your new hardware. It should give your sim racing a new lease on life.

Thanks Wally, it has ;D.

Also thanks Phil, this is a great combo and one I would not have thought of, and very difficult to get right lap after lap 8) 8).

This track is almost a perfect match for this car and should give some VERY close racing :) :) :) :) :) :).

What format are you going to use Phil, 5 min Qual followed by a 6 lap race?
