I got nothin'

That did nothing but piss me off tonight

Mixed night for me, but I was pretty happy with it.

Daylight savings does my head in. I arrived at practice with about 5 minutes to go, which doesn't suit me at all as I like to have at least half an hour to settle in and used most of the qualifying to get there......sort of.

Race 1: I went backwards from the start and realised my gearing wasn't good enough (mental note for race two). Determined not to lose every position that I found myself in I tried to stay on the outside of the fast left-hander at the back of the circuit, didn't stay on the track and beat my car up on the wall which smashed my windscreen. The rest of the race was difficult and I came virtually last after running out of fuel, and coasting to the finish line. (Mental note: add two litres of fuel)

Race 2: Changed gearing, added fuel and started in 15th. The start wasn't great, but it was okay and I didn't go backwards. The race looked like it was going to be a lot better than race one because I wasn't getting passed at the end of the straights which was the main problem in race one.
A few spots were gained when Wally had his unfortunate incident, and I drove really well to catch and pass Rob, bradc and eventually ab156 (whose car looked a little worse for wear) on the last lap to finish 7th. I didn't get time to savour it because I had a blue screen about 2 seconds after I crossed the line. I'm glad it held off until I'd crossed the finish line. :)

I enjoyed it, thanks blokes.

I reckon I did nearly 50 laps and I didn't do one clean timed lap in practice, qual, or race.

I had an awful race, on a really good track.

The End.

Only driven the Ferrari so far, but it seems really good.

I had a stinker.

Didn't qualify as well as I should have, and just kept making a mistake on every timed lap.

Race 1
It was going well till about 8 minutes left, and then it all went the same way my pinball had earlier in the day....shithouse.
Race 2
It was going okay till I wobbled off the track by checking info at the wrong time.
Then made a mistake wobbling into a wall when I certainly shouldn't have, went into a shitty spin, totally out of control and caught Russ and Bacchulum out who had nowhere to go when confronted by the Battling Top I had become.

I had a terrible night, and sorry to anyone else I compromised.

It's pretty easy to understeer into a barrier here and wreck your car.

Yes, but it's a really good track particularly compared to what it has become.

The two heavy braking areas after fast corners are really hard to get right.

Well, well, well. That was a really fun night. All the times were close, although it looked like there were two groups of the 1:26 club and the 1:27 club, but still only just over half a second between the two, with most of the field within a 1 1/2 seconds spread.

Race 1
It was both satisfying and frustrating, being close enough to see a train of cars in front of me but not being able to catch them. Nearly everyone seemed to be driving very consistently. Started 8th, finished 9th.

Race 2
Started 12th , and got lucky with a couple of accidents in front of me and moved up to 7th with Mael and Bueller in tow.
I was doing a reasonable of job of keeping a gap, but was a little slower. I reckon I might have had just enough pace to keep in front with some decent car placement, but I lost the rear when the tyres got a little warm, and lost two possies to Mael and Bueller so we'll never know.
I chased Bueller but he was consistently faster than me and I spent the rest of the race trying to break into the 1:26's but it never happened.
I gained one position back through Phil being a ape man on his gearbox. Keep up the good work. :P

The Doobs chase was especially entertaining, his offroad excursion ended what was building to a good battle.
Yeah, it would have been interesting, I was a little slower, but I may have had enough to keep you behind me........although I doubt it. I seemed to be a little slower through the downhill S so was a bit vulnerable after that all the way through to turn one.

I had a lot of fun last night.

I picked up an 8700k and msi z370 gaming m5 for $700 a couple months ago during an ebay 20% off sale, happy with this board, the cpu is solid @ 5ghz 1.3v. Ram is corsair 3200MHz from previous setup and runs easily @ 3466mhz on this mobo.
There is also the 9 series CPU's due out soon, the 9700k and 9900k the one's to look out for, 8 core & 8 core /16 thread respectively. And z390 to go with it however could be more expensive
Thanks man, I bought a 8700K and Aorus Gaming 5 on Sunday. I got itchy and my birthday is next week so....Happy Birthday to me.  :)

This game is starting to sound like it's been conceived by the West brothers

I just updated the track on the server, Try now

Either that did the trick, or me picking a paintjob that existed on the server.  All good now Phil.

Cheers
