While we are in the area, may as well leave the cars off the trailers and run them again on the 15th.
I had first thought, last week, that 15 laps on the shorter curcuit was too long, but no...

I was gifted the first race, first by Guybrush getting bored out in front and slowing, then Marty and Gratulin coming together in front of me. I did gain some laptime by following Guybrush's advice ”Less is more”, trying to let the front wheels be straighter before putting the power down.

I kept losing the rear of the BMW downshifting, particularly turn 2. I was mistiming my shift into 2nd , probably too early.

In race 1 I dropped to 8th in the first corner due to Marty and Gratulin (I think) having a moment into turn 1 but then gained a couple of positions with them having another moment it seems in the last part of the final lap.

Race 2 I panicked about how much fuel was needed because of the fuel estimate bug so started with a full tank just to be safe :). Again got fortunate with finding krahl and Wally behind me in the end as they were clearly 2 odd seconds faster than me and I needed to drive consistently to keep them there. Although Wally's spins in turn 2 were more than helpful :).

Overall a fun night for me.

Fun night for me, as I had tested the cars on both tracks, I thought I would take the challenge and go Mini for Druitt.
I was unable to get my "Headmovement" app running, which meant no "look left/right" and in no distance at all, with a good start, speared someone off into the grass... sorry.
Found a little more pace and IF only it was 14 laps would have come 2nd, but for the charging BMWs who swallowed may up on the penultimate lap.
A good "club" track , provided some good racing in the slower cars... hmmm would be good with Alfa GTAs :)
Race 2, like Baf, paniced with only .7 laps showing and filled the tank. not sure what difference it made, but put in some good laps.
Good endurance work and pleased with the length of the races, made us work!

Noticed around lap 15 the tyres/fuel balance had the car responding to lift off oversteer just to add some flavour to the drive...

It was a bit lonely without Team Speak.  It's hard to type "hahaha" while you are doing a 20 foot jump and landing on top of someone - who possibly could have been Grubbet.

Fun races though all the same.

I think it was lucky to go the mini first as the second track had the longer straights and seemed to favor the beamer more, in the shorter first track the mini could keep up with the beamers but the open track made it tough fr the mini's.

Race 1 unfortunately got spun on the 1st turn from second and ended up last, then fought back for 15 laps to a fight for the lead and got spun again on the last lap. Was fun fighting back through the pack just a little frustrating to end the way it started.

I just noticed this in race 2 results. I was the hunter and GB the hunted though our gap was more around the 1 second mark most of the race until I had an off. GB did get a bit of a gap early but then he also went off at that odd fast chican and after that our gap stayed fairly close.

Yet at the same time I was the loneliest.  ;D

Hunter: Marty Cerven (avg gap to car in front 2.83 secs)

Hunted: Guybrush Threepwood (avg gap to car behind 2.75 secs)

Busiest: Gratulin (avg total gap in front and behind 9.67 secs)

Loneliest: Marty Cerven (avg total gap in front and behind 33.89 secs)

What that indicates is that you were on Guybrush's hammer but there was no one behind you for miles. On average, everyone else had cars closer in front and behind.
