oh well KS might realize that , and to quote the great GB "As we have always said, AC is great as a sim but fairly lacking when it comes to features."

Does that make Wally a special person, or makes him feel like a very lucky boy for the experience. :)

It's better to have a great person come inside you, or so I've been told.

We probably need to ask Marty since he has been partnering with the great GB for a long time now...

Pretty much what we'd said AC's console flaws would be.

On the PC as well, you can see that KS have produced great physics and driving feel, but they don't do the "game" elements around it well. It's been true ever since netKar.

It's strange that the AI don't have drivers in them. That would look weird.

These features are the easiest to fix IF they WANT to fix them...

Many say AC is just a hotlap simulator and really if you are forced to just race with AI or full open pub server clowns this is true. On console I cant imagine wanting to race in mp or even race the ai and they dont even have hotlap leaderboards of any type.

Luckily we can do our own thing with league racing or minorating servers. Kunos has always struggled with features and the review seems fairly fair but also the console version has even more issues added to lack of features due to lack of hardware in those consoles.

No idea how mp works in consoles but seems that servers are all on the gaming networks for PS and Xbox so private dedi servers wont work. Im sure other console games must have a way of having private servers.

Porting the engine from pc to console and a menu system that looks very limited. Forza and GT are pretty much inhouse studios working directly with Sony and MS so they will have advantages of getting the most out of the linited hardware. They also dont focus much on physics spending resources more on fluff which is more noticeable in videos and to casual gamers.

Who knows after some patches if they can make ac run better, without private servers the more serious racers wont bother with it doI think thats the keythibg they will need to add along with getting it to run better on the limited hardware.

pretty disappointing that it been out for 3 years and Kunos don't seem to take any notice of what its customers want , They haven't really changed or added any features racers want.  We will have to wait for AC2 as I am starting to suspect that the engine they use just doesn't allow a lot of it, such as sector times and more than one light source.

I might start a automobilista night on Saturdays or something to have a decent fair look at another game that has all the finishing touches

All Kunos have done is expose all of its flaws to a bigger more vocal audience,, lucky about the driving model because if wasn't for that none of us would play it
