See the fun run for the GT4 makes. With the GT4s, I'll probably do a 20 min qualifying race and then a 40 min feature race with a mandatory stop for tyres.
Also, can you give me an indication if there are some Tuesdays coming up over the holiday season that you'd like to have a season break due to being away.
-
No to the radical :) How about the Formula Easter cars we used on a Thursday?
-
I added a Formula RSS 3 V6 option - fun run on 3/12.

I'm trying to provide extra motivation to fix your PC ;)

Any way any of us can help you out Bacc? Where are you currently at? Still HDD failure?

Well, I'm posting this from my computer, but no congratulations yet. :-\
It takes 10mins to boot off an SSD, so something is still wrong.

I had a pc once that took that long if I left my wheel turned on

Try downloading CCleaner https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download free edition and run the cleaning functions. Also run Registry Check(backup old registry entries) and then click on "fix"
this may solve your slow Boot issue.

Could your SSD be full?
-
CMD- sfc scannow to repair windows files

CMD- sfc scannow to repair windows files
Found no errors.
Could your SSD be full?
Could be close.
But the SSD is slow, the HDD is slow, and there was the CPU overheating issue.
All 3 failing simultaneously, or the bit they're all connected to?

Download "Speccy" free edition
https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download
and check if all components of your system appear as they should. This is a very strange problem.

Bummer, there is also hwinfo64, you can use the portable version so no need to install more stuff, open the sensors tab and look for anything out of the ordinary. Temps, clock speeds, throttling, voltages, loads, drive life, windows errors etc.
Edit, maybe should start a new thread with system specs and the issues

Are you running both SSD and a traditional HDD together?
A connected failing drive can cause a slow boot even if it's not the boot drive. If possible, try booting SSD-only with the HDD not connected?
Something like CrystalDiskInfo can be used to view disk drive information to see reported errors.

Love the comradery here. Everyone in trying to get one of the fallen back on his feet so here is my 2 cents
Geeks to you (if that still exists) or
Treat yourself to a early Xmas treat and buy a new PC with double the spec of your old one …

All that would be great, except I can't afford a new HDD let alone a whole computer.

I rather like the Fomula RSS, but only if it is a fixed setup season to ensure close racing. So for now I'll vote for the GT4's
-
The poll is a tie, so courtesy of my deciding vote, we'll be racing GT4s. We can do the F3 next, by which time Bacchulum will be back on track.
