Dunno what they've done to the game but I just ran a few laps in single player at Imola and it's choppy as shit. I have v-sync on and was getting drops from 59fps to 29fps at certain parts of the track which are usually fine, and even when GPU was reporting 59fps it still just felt choppy.

I turned my Vsync to adaptive in the Nvidia control panel (with vsync on in-game), as I noticed the FPS would drop from 60 to 30 as well. I reckon they've changed something in the way Vsync works in AC.

Cheers wally. That was my guess too and was about to do the same thing, though with adaptive in the control panel shouldn't it be off in game?

Guess it overrides the in game v-sync as seems to work. Assume they've done something where if it drops to a certain level the cap it at 30.

Anyone elses track map not displaying correctly?
Try deleting the two "map.png" and "map.ini" files and enter the track again. It will crash and then track should have a map.

I ran some laps in the porsches at imola and all good. Vsync off and on, less tearing with vsync on @ 60hz but no choppiness. Maybe the 30fps thing is something for consoles?

Thanks, I'll give it a go.

I'd say 2min laps will be typical. Fast guys will probably get a few seconds lower.
