Love it! Haha it once again proves 'breeding' and/or 'money' doesn't create 'smart'!
Toorak Road, where all the 'wanna be seen' hang out, then in the middle of the morning when even a Holden/Ford stands out in little traffic and cops are bored! ROFLMbottomO  ;D

A ride in the cars would be alright, but not with morons!

I am jealous as hell but I do wonder how loose someone must be with money to drive a $600,000 car without insurance.

I know when I bought my SV6 I was worried about tinting the windows because I heard some insurance companies deny payouts because of it, I can't imagine driving a car worth the cost of a house without insurance.

On toorak rd atm as I read this lol, funniest thing is the price these cars are in Australia would be about 1/3 the price in the US. I remember when a friend of mine paid about $550k for a f430 then when we were in the states saw them new and in stock for about $150k he also had to wait about 7 months for delivery in OZ.

When it comes to the people that buy such cars they arent spending their last dollars on it or getting a loan mostly its equivelant to a normal person spending money they found in the sofa. Insurance here would be close to $50k a year if your a younger driver.

In Dubai there are veyrons abandoned in the streets gathering dust, some rich guys forget where they park them so just go buy another.  ::)

Yeah, the taxes on importing luxury / exotic cars to Oz is ridiculous (but probably keeps a few jobs here).

When my brother was living in Chelsea, in London his street was full Ferrari's, Porsches and Audi R8's just sitting on the street in front of the apartments.  Was thinking that I'd make sure I could at least park it in a garage if I bought one.

It was bizarre though, as here you are lucky to see a few in your life-time (being in the country) and yet they were so common and unprotected over there.
