The driver fomerly known as...
« on: February 10, 2016, 07:04:51 PM »
Ysu is now Bird on-track.

And yes... I'll sort the pit boxes by season standings, so Bird isn't automatically near the end of pit lane 8)

The driver formerly known as Ysu but called Bird on teamspeak is now still known as Bird.

Has anyone ever called him Ysu and how would you even say that.  ;)

Yeah, true...but really, no-one can pronounce that.  Its history is my original nickname, Isu from my name Istvan.  But it was a fairly common nickname back in Hungary, so I could not use it online much, hence the change it to Ysu.   Here in Australia I've realised that Isu is too similar to issue (almost the same pronunciation, too, in Hungarian) so I kept the Ysu version,  but it's bit of a tongue twister.

So Bird it is, end of history lesson, g'nite kids.

If you do the entry list within the server manager its very easy to move people up and down the entry list. However if I load the entry list from the practice server I am missing some cars. This normally only happens if there is a skin I dont have installed is noted in the entry list or possibly a format error in it.

All you need to do is move the server cfg and entry list to server/presets folder under whatever name you want to call the server.

Then edit this within the server manager, press save and copy these back to the server. Seeing as the current entry list doesnt fully load all entries I can redo one and give you the list in season order. In the serveranager you can also easily save drivers guid details and quickly drag them into the entry list.

It really is much simpler then trying to manually edit the list. Especially someone prone to typos like me. (Probably 5 already in this post lol) I find it best to just use the Kunos GUI server manager. It also automatically adds things when a ge is updated and makes setting weather and all other server settings quite simple to undersrand.

And everyday you learn something new. That's what I like. And thinking it was just this morning I was thinking "how fun the guys just write cya when I am leaving the server"... and now suddenly your name makes sense ;)
