Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: Post Round 5 Gentrack and Stats« on: September 20, 2014, 06:19:28 PM »
scrappy first race for me, started with beaching it trying to give racing room, then gave wally a nice tap while he was duelling with gratulin and finally got stuck in the pit wall and lost a lap after getting caught up in some carnage. had a good run of luck so far in this series, that was about due
second race I put an extra 4psi in the tyres which helped heaps and ran a clean race, yo-yo'ing behind peter to bring home some points another good nights racin' ps. love the stats 9

Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: Season 2 Carroll Shelby Cobra Cup Track Suggestions:« on: September 09, 2014, 12:51:05 AM »
wouldn't mind racing one of the actual AC tracks, the mod tracks can be a bit hit and miss ... though castle hill is the highest qual ive seen so far and drives bloody well, golf looks great too
two tracks I haven't seen mentioned and are decent (but haven't tried the cobra on) ... Donington and Brno id also jump at the chance to do a race in the robin as I missed the first run and still crackup at the video that was posted. but hell ... id race a lawnmower around a barn 12

this series has reminded me of the great, clean and close racing I loved in LFS ... a race at blackwood will fantastic

another great night's racing
the cobra is a real handful, I expected it to be an exercise in frustration with it going wrong so easily ... but im lovin it great work on the skins, really add to an already colourful grid 14

Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: Salzburgring - post race chat...« on: August 22, 2014, 06:36:02 PM »
thanks for the warm welcome, was a great night ... good racing and good laughs
surprised myself ... haven't been that competitive so far in AC, doesn't help that im spending more time in blender then driving lol was expecting to take it easy down the back to avoid the frustration of spending more time off track then on it. grabbed Guybrush's setup before practice and it made all the difference, so I owe a huge thanks there ... had a beautiful balance and I ended up loving the sweeper, gently drifting though it. very rarely get rostered or called in thursdays so im looking forward to racing this series on that note, Wally ... you may as well clear me from tuesdays, so far even when I thought ive been clear to race its gone south
