Looks good, paid mod though, do you know how much?

Looks to be as good as the mod for Rf1 (have you used this?) which is considered to be one of the best mods created for Rf1, it was absolutely amazing in Rf1 (which was a sim I never really liked, too much like ice skating :(). I would happily pay $20 for this mod when you consider how many hours of fun it will provide :) and well over a year in the making , at least with development of AC nearly completed mods will not be broken with every new update :) :) :) :). When you compare the price of a movie ticket for at best 2 hours of enjoyment or 5 cups of coffee, it is extremely good value.
No price has been released as yet and the rumour is 1 free car and the rest paid.
Is it $20? I'd buy it especially if we did a season
I do not know how much it is going to cost, I was just taking a guess.
Was going to post this video a couple days ago, sound effects of the K3 @ 15:00 are awesome.
You are right there , the sounds of these cars really is something else :o :o :o 8) , probably one of the reasons for the delay in release was AC FMOD changes with every update :'(
Just continuing the quote vortex. 8)

Great race event and series, thanks Wally.
Guys mentioning the hot medium tyres early on in the season, must have been a bug that was fixed in one of those small updates. Cooking tyres with normal racing didn't seem right, just my guess.
Q. failed to post my fastest practice time, wasn't carrying enough fuel for the session.
R1. Jump start...doh! Drive through, press on to try and make some ground, good clean racing no contacts.
R2. Even more good clean racing try to pass the same guys from r1. Got to the lead briefly but Kcender came storming through and I choked, set my fastest lap trying to follow but hit a sausage on the fast left after corkscrew, huge tank slap but held on for second.
R3. Running with Kcender and Matthew hoping to maintain 3rd but I put tyre into the sand out of turn 4 which kind of got caught on the curb or something, another major tank slap that was not so forgiving and nosed it into the wall. Crew chief said come on its only aero damage so I pressed on with cracked windows and shaking bonnet.
Absolutely awesome race session despite my mistakes, at least they weren't costly for others as they had been in the past. I've used crew chief this round and the last, I find it quite good especially in conjunction with helicorsa, except it gets busy when four wide like the beginning of race two at Okayama. I don't use it with the cobra, doesn't seem right for the era. I didn't bother with downloading opponents names as someone mentioned you hear the same names all the time. It's also funny when you get...for f**k sake, track limits.

I've got dirt rally, it's pretty cool. Anyone interested in doing some rally cross, actually, can we still connect online with this?

You can actually do rally racing, set up you own rally "season" and run it - we used to have that on the arse forums.  One race run week.  It's not bad, if there's enough interest and someone willing to do the administration :)
So if there is a few guys keen, we can do a rally cross session online together? Haven't loaded up dirt in quite a while and even when it was new I couldn't find any online races

Good point, didn't think about the difference of tracks, also, it kinda takes the fun out of driving these beasts. Maybe a small amount of ballast without restriction?

You can also add a bit more fuel for the same effect although it may not make them easier to drive as the restriction does.
I did a quick offline test without restrictions/ballast and managed a 2:28 (I think), about the same as roo.

My nbn is quite comparable
http://www.speedtest.net/result/7022538476

Wtf is this shit. Dialup? Your xhamster quality must be terrible.

that's nbn when the backhaul is congested in peak times , so basically from 3pm to midnight everyday for me, first thing of a morning I get close to what I am meant to get which is 50/20
Feel for you, I used to call my wife while away for work and ask her to turn on my pc a day before I come home so everything gets updated, lol

Good racing, I found that the more restrictor I had the easier it was to lap in the 1:38's, although the other cars were faster in a straight line, I found that I could get the power down easier out of corners where I was struggling beforehand. So I recommend anyone who finds it a bit difficult to drive try it with maybe 20-40% restrictor and see how it goes. If more people went with that I'd go with a bit more myself, not sure I'm ready for ballast though lol

Highlights of the reverse grid race 2. Watch this, and then tell me that the racing was bad!

Not ALL bad, a few of us made mistakes. Cool movie you made there  8)

I have a good feeling the driving will be bumper to bumper again!!!!
front quarter to rear quarter....I hope I can keep mine off bacchulum, its becoming a bad habit

704
Very sorry bacchulum for turning you around in race 2, I saw you and Godzilla bouncing off each other quite hard down the bendy straight, it had slowed both of you down a fair bit which meant I came up on you quickly but I took a heavy inside line into the hairpin and did not have a lot of grip there and slid toward as you went for the apex. Sorry. Mostly good racing after that though but felt like I was out to the groove.
Race 1 was a bit lonely.
Race 3 was a lot of fun racing with you all.

Racing general / Re: Professional sim used by Erebus motorsports

We have a simulator at work https://photos.app.goo.gl/36GGZx5m0tE6AwBG2
Made a short clip while I put one our excavator operators through the basic training program. Its usually set up for dump trucks, but they trialled an excavator kit. It is in its own shipping container, fully air-conditioned, 180degree curved screen (triple 1080p rear projector), full motion base and runs off four server rack mounted PC's with 6th gen i5s, 16gb ram, gtx960's. Would love to convert it to racing rig lol. I think it's a seven figure system
Excavator racing?
Probably shouldn't have hijacked this thread, but yeah there is a bit of competition among the digger drivers with the highest bcm/hr. This sim is a good bit of fun and quite realistic
