I am wanting to move my email away from spying google and was wondering if techie types could tell me if the best way to do this and keep my email in the future is to registrar a domain, which I already have, krahl.space,  and get it hosted somewhere like zoho for free, or fastmail, paid .

Or is it easier to just get an email address with somewhere secure like zoho or fastmail and risk losing my email address one day if they close down or I move providers.

What do you really mean by "spying"? Just inserting ads? Or full on NSA surveillance?  Ads are automated and harmless, but the NSA and other agencies have their hooks into pretty much any email provider.

But yeah, if you have a domain name, the package will often include an email account.

I think what he means is "wife, partner or associate will not be able to see the 12 incher I've ordered online from Sexy Land".  :P

Gmail hotmail yahoo for an average person. Other free privider - will likely have a catch or go out of business soon.  Self hosted solution if you really know what you are doing and will need to pay a bit if you want a decent hosting. Be prepared for spamfest. you will need your own - likely paid - spam solution.

If you can solve it advise me too.

Sorry for me brevity. On mobile ☺

Just set up your gmail through a desktop client, then you won't get the ads. I have outlook.com (previously hotmail), set up through outlook 2013, works fine.
