Good race tonight :) both Bird and Freezer managed to get me the same way on the same corner :) damn GTR's. Heaps of people had good pace today, I couldn't match a lot of you.

As for race 2, I gave Marty a small tap at an awkward moment which gave him a PLP penalty warning, even though he would have had no choice nor was it really a cut, more of a going wide into some astroturf, losing time if anything. If that was the cause for his 10 second penalty I would be ok with me taking the penalty instead or switching our finishing positions. Doesn't seem right if he gets penalised for my mistake :)

The cone thing is just the way it is at the moment, it's set as a "pobject" which is what makes it move when hit, and there was a recent change to how those objects work in one of the patches, can't remember which, but now it can be like randomly hitting a brick wall, or like hitting nothing, it's not specific to this track or that cone. Just need to do your best to avoid it or try your luck, nothing you can really do about it for now. That cone does seem to be consistently bad though, maybe it's just incentive to try your best not to cut :). On the plus side pobjects are all client side and can only be hit by you on your end, so no one can knock the cone into you and send you flying :p

Going to need to drop from tonights round, having issues with my router, pretty sure it's dead. LAN interfaces keep going down and I have severe packet loss even just to the router. I jump into the server and everyone is just porting around the track. Tried to fix it all day, no luck.

Good luck to everyone else tonight! :) I'll be back for the next round!

Finally managed to get in a race where I didn't spin out like a noob or ruin the race for someone else!

Race 1 was really intense, Marty. Basically breathing down each others necks the entire way around. Had to copy your pit strategy as your slipstream was the only way I could see myself staying in that race :p and the finish was scary, you came out of the last corner with so much more speed and was right on my ass on the final straight (pic), had either of us been in any other car you would have 100% taken that race.

Second race was a lot easier with that front wing repaired, but after leaving pits and seeing a white car suddenly behind me again, all I could think of was "What the f... what did Marty just do!?" :) Good racing tonight, we need to hunt down GB next race!

If there's still room with the new track mods, I'd love to sign up with the Lamborghini Huracan GT3!

Hey everyone, Paul here

I've been into sim racing for a while now, playing rFactor 1/2, Gran Turismo 5 (If that counts) and now Assetto Corsa. I've been racing with a lot of you XGN guys lately and was told to come check your website out and join in for some events and have some fun!

I'm 27, live in NSW and do IT Networking. I've been into cars heavily since I first got behind a wheel and quickly found myself getting into drifting, and over time really started to enjoy the competitive nature of racing, there's always a way to be better and it's a big draw for me. I tend to be a really competitive driver, and while not fast as some of you guys, am always pushing to try and be faster than my last lap and to beat the other drivers on track :p My Steam ID is "penguintwitch" if any of you want it.

I look forward to continuing to drive with you guys as it's been a bunch of fun already!

p.s. Please give Marty a 100kg ballast on all servers :)
