Finally, version 1 final has been finally released! Finally!

The release includes 4 cars:
- Honda NSX NA1
- Honda NSX NA2
- Honda NSX-R NA1
- Honda NSX-R S1 (a fictional upgrade for the NSX-R)

The changelog (since the last beta 2) includes:
- much improved physics matching closely the real car;
- accurate sounds recorded from the real car;
- graphical improvements including dash lights, driver shift animations, better headlights and tail lights etc.

Known issues:
- the driver shift animations are not perfect, but good enough for external views
- no LODs

Credits:
- model & texures — Siim Annuk
- physics — David Dominguez
- initial sounds — NeverKrash, final recorded sounds — Surefoot, sound mixing — Modek

This mod is a real surprise. It looks great - interior is so typically Japanese - the plastic on the dash really glistens with quality! It also drives great with that Kunos feeling of being unique rather than a copy of other cars. Sounds are a bit muted but I read that the real life NSX was pretty quiet in stock form.

I would be really interested in other opinions on how this drives. I think I am getting better at judging the quality of the physics in each of the cars but still a lot to learn.

You are probably using better criteria to me as well, I have adopted:

  • Looks good?
  • Sounds good?
  • Slides, (couldn't use the poor grammar) well!

I think you mentioned "and wallows" last night!!! :P

EDIT: It was Wally and I quote: " It's big and heavy and wallowy without being too unpredicatable or feral."

The NSX is light and nimble but can be 'slid'...
