Is there room tonight for a noob like Dick Forrest? I swear I'll be quite on TS  :P

I need to install some things though right? Freejoin or something?
as well as the track.

I think the trick with Aosta is to aim for the blue cones!!!

You've seen my racing style Gratulin! If I had nothing to crash into I'd never make it round a track..

So, AOSTA is twisty and long? Is it modeled on a real location? Can't say I recognize the name.

No, it's a fictional track from netKar pro. It's the elevation changes and blind corners that are a bit tricky.

How did the race end up guys? I couldn't join as I've been away for work again.  Hopefully next week.

Yes. Really good fun and educational - how to spin an F40 :)

There were about 6 of us there.

We had one race in the Lotus 240R. Every new car takes a bit of getting used to, but it was fun, sliding about quite nicely. I learned that I am way slower than Bird in the hairpin - a fact which he kept reminding me of by ramming into the rear of my car there (accidentally!).

Then we tried a 10 lap race in the F40 stage 3. I think all of use were sweating by the end of that race.

Awww, I love the F40.  I could imagine it being a real handful around Aosta though with all the trail braking and off-balance corners.

I'm also with you on that hairpin Wally, a major PITA for me in the few laps I did with Marty Tuesday night.

I kept trying to get a run on the inside out of the hairpin, and kept mis-calculating Wally's speed...  He spun every time, very nicely :)

Didn't have much time last night and tired/nto feeling 100% after a cold.
I remembered the shorter version, I raced that a few times in Netkar, a great track that I loved the 1600.
Rushed most attempts, with some limited tweaking, but Istvan, your changes certainly made the car more drivable.
I like the 'realism' that each car is different, I liked using the beta Elise, it was very close to my wife's Elise.  Need to apply the same patience here me thinks.

Phil found I brake early, hehehe and Rob? and I had a head-on bingle when I lost entering the last corner, sent me spinning for 10 secs and a mile off track!
Also noted the tyres take on a lot of debris!

Ha! that was me who hit you "dead-on". Couldn't decide which way to go to avoid you and ended up choosing neither :) After I hit you I couldn't find you anywhere. Eventually saw you driving back across some paddock about a mile away :)
