Thanks Wally, an old fav track this one!  I will get my son-in-law along if I may, Fatih, he should have time to do some practice and a good an introduction as any.

Sorry guys I could not attend, picked up my niece & nephew from the airport, I had to get up at 5, drove ~4 hours to and fro, and did not have much sleep, and I was totally knackered by the evening.

It was a great casual bit of fun.  Look forward to next Thursday.  I went from disliking Donington to really enjoying the first half of the track - everything from the chicane onwards I could leave behind but otherwise quite a fun track.  The sight of coming over the crest after T1 and seeing cars zipping down the hill into the fast right-hander was fantastic.  The track is lacking some graphical and physics details but the layout is good.

I also recorded a race between Marty, Dick and I in the Tatuus @ Silverstonestone, so I'll see if I can get it on Youtube.

It was fun. I like how very different cars like the GT2 M3 feel to others. Guy was miles ahead of everyone else in terms of laptimes in the BMW, but we had some closer racing in the Taatus  at Silverstone (only because he let me catch him!)

I'm definitely not Darren quick, although I do my best to hold him up!  We were racing at the regular Silverstone GP track.  Got to around a 2.01 but with a bit more practice and a few setup tweaks I think sub-2 minutes is achievable.  We were all pretty closely matched though; I think the cornering ability of the these cars brings the field a bit closer together than with the tin-tops, as it's a bit more "point and shoot".
