Frustrating night for me, glad it was only a fun run. Porsche race I had some frame stutters causing me to go off track on two corners both getting cut warnings and letting two people by (I did end of with 5 cuts though so would have had a penalty regardless haha). Lotus race had a good start with Shayne and was on him but starting loosing him then suddenly Wally came up beside me out of nowhere. Looked at pedal app and was only hitting 90% throttle. More cars passed me and was then only hitting 80%. Very annoying, may need to clean the sensors. Replugging the pedals usually fixes the issue and this can be done in game but kind of hard to do when racing. I do have a USB cable here with a switch on it so may put that on the pedals and have it reachable on the rig. That way if it happens in race I can just coast and flip it off and on.

This is what helped me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdVKtHihURE
About the 4:20 mark.
Seems that pivot pin can move (rotate) and as that's the magnet that the HAL sensor reads it stops reading full throttle, generally only moves a bit at a time so you lose about 10% though I have seen as high as 25% (hard heel toe must have knocked it a bit). I re-sat it and tightened the grub screw as hard as it goes and its been good for a while now.
The throttle re-calibrates itself when it powers on so goes to normal when you unplug and re plug the USB or restart the PC but it always happens mid race, pretty annoying

Interesting that Shayne tapped me from behind both races but his impact speeds are 8k & 6k slower than my impacts. How does that work?

These are impacts reported by the server, and they're never 100% equivalent i.e. if Shayne hits you at 8 kph, then that doesn't mean you hit Shayne at 8 kph as well. I guess it might come down to the two different game clients reporting slightly different speeds.
