Thanks for the racing guys, will be hanging up the wheel for this league for a little while. Just to busy with family and car to have time for a league as well. I'm sure you all understand (not)  ;D

Cheers

We do understand.  There are important things in life that take precedence.
Will speak to soon

Well that sucks for us....

Enjoy spending time with the family and car.... we really know you are just terrified of racing us :)

PS, check out my new car in the hobbies thread, your car was built to rally, let's go get it dirty  :o

OK, while we are at it chuck the Bimota on the back and lets run that up some trail tracks, should be a hoot for both of us.   ;)

Been doing some testing and found a softer spring than last week seems to work here. Hope that helps. Think the Cortina will be strong here too

It was great. Race one was real close with Glen and I. Thought I'd be able to hold him off early on but he stayed close and waited patiently while the falc slipped and slid all over the shop.  Then as the tyres began to go I ran wide put a wheel in the dirt and he was through. No probs I thought still plenty of time to get him on the straight. Of course Glen knew this was coming and you could clearly see how hard he was pushing into the turns before the straight. This ensured he had enough of a buffer that I couldn't get to him on the straight. It was a real nice piece of pedalling.  WD Freez

Then there was the incident that saw Flatty banned but that's another story :-X

It has taken a while for the XGN admins to catch up to the ratbag Flattop, but they got him last night!  ::)

I can laugh about it now but it was just one of the string of "comedy of errors" that I caused last night.  Sorry to all, I was stuffed and concentration went off very quickly.
So I apologise again about the crappy running of last night   :-[

There were some high points, 5 hitting the track, with Glenn putting in some great laps to hit the big Fords and teach 'em a few tricks.  From where I was, you were 2 overlapping dots on the HUD map.

ps the admin has worked out...

the file banlist.txt is saved in the /User directory,
it is written out each time the server is shut down as well as stored in memory till then.
and don't have yourself selected in the monitor when you accidentally hit the "Ban" button! hahahahha

Thanks for putting up with the management of the series again, I dis some impromptu polling on whether we need "results" and was graciously excused, thanks, I just seem to have run out of steam/time.

I like the track, I just hate the sand!

A sterling job as ever.
We are ever so grateful of the efforts you put in and can't thank you enough.
Not surprised with a new job and more importantly a new hoist that you are running low on time. ( Twice as much work to do on all the cars now you have easy access to the under side as well )

Agreed that was a very good race.  You mentioned at the end that I would put the foot down when needed.  I can confirm that was everywhere from the start to the finish :) :)  I had to be super tidy and quick as possible through the back section to have half a chance on the straight and it paid off.  Unfortunately I had a spin early in the 2nd race (after Bruce stopped banning himself :) ) and wasn't able to get back amongst it after that.
Good nights racing .....
