Assetto Corsa / Re: Melbourne GP Catch up?

Ok, I'll have my go at it. The two at the front look more like brothers than the third on the back. So this means GB should be one of them. All we know about GB is that he is like 33, his name is Justin, has a kid, and wakes up early morning to manage an employment help for people with disabilities (or something not too far from this). All this is quite irrelevant to distinguish between the two brothers. So I go for the last thing I know about GB: he spends a lot of time in front of a computer monitor. Since the one on the left looks fitter, I'll say GB is the one on the right.

Haha like the thinking Grat. I do remember GB saying his brother is 40 and likes Lego, and the dude on the right does look older. The dude on the left looks younger than me and I'm also 33, so I'm thinking left is GB :D

Great idea Wally!!
'BEEEP' Freezer!!! (small ini tweak --> auto censorship = 1)
 :P

Have we all forgot the nasty incident with Wally when Gratulin accidently came inside.  ;D Not sure if an infant wants to be exposed to such filth either.

I will never forget that comment. It's pure gold  ;D "Sorry, I shouldn't have come inside you there wally..."

Well list the people in the picture, and then we can guess who is who. I have no idea who was there apart from Phil and GB :)

Here is a pic of the boys and gals at the GP!  Such a ripping day yesterday; sunshine, food, beer, supercross in the background, beautiful girls, and then F1.

So who's who? :)

I'm expecting my first little one at the end of June so this doesn't bode well for me either.

I have been playing Witcher3 when I need some AC downtime :P

See u back online soon Joe :)
We had 2 that slept right through from almost day one :)

Mine are generally pretty good, but sometimes just need a dummy putting back in, or picking up for a few minutes. While that's fine while playing a game I can pause, it doesn't work well for sim racing  :D

Never seen a car end for end like Fernando did, scary

Sorry for crap filming
As always, it's amazing that he could just walk away from a crash like that.

Agreed, and real testament to the safety of those cars. Bet he's aching today though!

Yeah, the little blighters are life changers. Don't worry, they'll move out in 20 years and you can have your life back.

At least that gives me plenty of time to start saving for a proper sim rig... wife is keen for 4 so 20+ years to go  :-\

Congrats dude. Enjoy them while they're tiny. People say that shit all the time, but it's only when you have your own you realise how true that statement is as they grow so quick!

AC was consuming my life practicing for Tuesday and Thursday races and didn't get a chance to play many other games, so in a way it's been nice having a break, but I do miss the racing!

Howdy

I'm still lurking on here but I've had accept the fact that the baby is forcing me to take a little break from AC. Planning on joining in, then not being able to was happening too often so now I'm not even trying to save the disappointment. I haven't even fired up AC on my new gaming rig!

Once he's sleeping regularly in the evenings I'll be back for sure! On this plus side it's given me time for other games and I've been able to finish Witcher 3 and am having a lot of fun with The Division.

See y'all soon

Just set up your gmail through a desktop client, then you won't get the ads. I have outlook.com (previously hotmail), set up through outlook 2013, works fine.

Haha, you never know unless you give it a try. It's definitely a gamepad kind of game though.

Anyone playing this? I got it last night after hearing a few recommendations and it's awesome. I didn't expect it to be that good, but I was hooked pretty quickly! It's on sale on steam at the moment.

I see the "the little hand of a helper" too, should be easy to do one day before his nap!
Looks like a winner kit.

The tiny hand was my three year old, she was pretty interested in it all. I started the build when she was still up but didn't get very far as she kept trying to touch everything!

Excellent stuff Joe, the joy of building a new rig!! Love it  :P

Now I just need some time for the joy of Assetto Corsa! I booted it up yesterday and fully maxed out the graphics settings to give it a go. Was getting fps dips into the mid 50's at spa which surprised me as I get a pretty constant 70fps on witcher 3 which is known for being GPU intensive.
Looking good! It's probably still worth tweaking reflections, which give a FPS hit.

Cheers Wally, I'll tweak a few things once I get a chance to set my wheel up. The other night I gave it a try with the xbox controller and stopped playing pretty quickly as it sucks.
