Not sure if Joe put up a practice server, but I put one up running MR AB and the white list. 30c no tyre blankets 60 min practice 10 min qualy and 10 lap race as it was a bit annoying in the other server with complete randoms joining.

I will be interstate for a few days but its there if anyone wants to use it.

I didn't but if you're allowing us to use your servers again I'll just go back to random combos on mine.

I can host it while I still have servers up, likely wont be online much the next few days but it should stay up without issues.

I ran a few more laps here today, quite a fun combo this. Pretty tricky technical track but good fun once you get into a bit of a rhythm, there is lots of runoff but it just accelerates you into walls it seems so best to stay on the track.  :D

Here is the link for stracker stats for those not using ptracker in game.

Lol Phil. You wanna drive the truck instead?

Found a truck for Phil to use  ;D

Those stairs need to be a ramp, can imagine some great passes into chicanes as the guy ahead brakes you just flat launch over the top and make the chicane with a straight flight no cut as tyres were well above the track.  ;D

A few observations:
  • Turns 11 and 12 which are key for the long back straight are really hard to get right consistenly: blind, decreasing radius, and the ripple strips on entry and exit can unsetlle the car.
  • It's pretty easy to run wide to the left at turn 5, getting a cut warning.
  • Passing is going to be hard here, like the Thrursday race on one of the short layouts. The full layout isn't necessarily going to be any easier. Because this race has a CPS, you might have to choose when you pit carefully, depending on the traffic you migth come out in.
  • It looks like it's going to be fairly warm at 32°.

Best passing opportunity is exiting t11 and t12 and into t14 so it will be the key section in the race. T14 will likely be the place that also has most contact due to this as both drivers need to be aware of each other if any overlap is there at the brake point.

Passing was much harder at Monza then I expected but then the spiking pedal wasn't going to help me much there, here the car is quite awkward with race fuel and low grip so may be best for all to try some laps heavy to figure out how to get around the first few turns of the race.

I love this track but it's deadly.
A lot of places are really bumpy, like the corners to the front straight - and if you run wide, you'll be sliding for a fair bit down the hill.  In a few places it's easy to hit a wall if you make a mistake, then spin back onto the track...

I remember from iRacing times that passing can be extremely treacherous.  Too many left-right-left kinda corners.  And tight ones, with nothing to spare.
