Ok, done my 'secret' 15 laps or so...yeah, Wally, why don't you make it 19deg, instead of 29? I mean, it's a simulation...you can do whatever you want  ;)
Seriously, left tyres are pretty much permanently deep red...may really have to go for mediums this time.
This track is great fun in the Alfa.

I liked twisting people's arms to not use softs all the time ;)
I make weather "realistic". It can get that hot at Silverstone.

Is it too late to change cars mid season to the Merc?  ::)

Ha ha!  ;). I am likely to miss Interlagos which I am quite sad about as I'll be on holiday, so I need every opportunity to score some good points.  ;D

Yeah, but red softs are still faster  :).
Really good times there on the server...no chance I could switch and adjust to different cars so quickly.

Slight oversteer wally on the inside, I got stuck as had a better exit and nowhere to go, eased off to move back across allowing Mael up the inside, 3 wide and a drift across the back of Mael.

That sums up my whole night, super intense close racing every lap was loads of fun.

Race 1, I missed the early bingle (just clipped someone), and then had an easy run in 2nd, watching Dietmar get smaller and smaller on the horizon.

Race 2 was excellent. I had a helluva long and fun battle with Mael, who got the early jump on me with his soft tyres. Finally I passed him after several laps, only to lose it in a tank slapper at the right hander at the end of hangar straight, dropping spots to Freezer, Joe and Mael. But then as in Joe's video, I had a good race, passing all three of them (with Phil & ab156 also in the mix). That's been the race of the season, so far.

I manage to miss the carnage on lap 1 getting up into 3rd.
I had some early pressure from Freezer but opened a gap that I was maintaining.
Then the gearbox let go on lap 7.
I couldn't find any motivation to start race 2, given it was a guaranteed DNF.

Despite the incident I really enjoyed both of the races, it was tough battling trying to take places safely in R1 and then fighting for podium in R2, very intense. One of the highlights for me was giving Dietmar a little tap on the rear on corner exit (on the straight away) just to let him know I'm there, in case he wasn't feeling enough pressure already. It was a bit of a "hear me laughing" moment. The medium tyres were buggered by the end but probably necessary as to not overheat. Excellent racing thanks guys.

No one else is blowing gearboxes. Perhaps you can change the range of your clutch pedal in AC. Mine is set to only about 33% max so I don't have to depress the pedal all the way.

Did that years a go, but it wouldn't make a difference.
It's the downshifts that's damaging it and I'm not using the clutch at all for them.
I find I have to heel-toe if I right foot brake, but then (with my old knees) I can barely walk the next day from the twisting action required to do it.
