Kept on getting errors on joining so assumed it is the cars. Downloaded the cars so many times in my effort to fix it that I probably blew my monthly data allowance already.

Turned out my copy of the track is outdated  ?

Getting checksum error but Content Manager not showing any missing content. Any ideas?

I seemed to spend most of this race playing KERS cat and mouse between Bacchulum and Mael, watching ptracker to see when they were faster than me and vice versa, trying to figure out when they were using KERS and when to deploy mine. I vaguely caught up to Bacchulum by the end of the lap, but he'd pull away again over the course of the next lap. It's no wonder I was Hunter and he was Hunted - that's certainly what it felt like. With Mael as well, the three of us were in fairly interesting battle the whole race - ruined at the end when both Mael and I had to do a splash 'n dash stop for fuel at the end.

I was testing different KERS deployment the whole time to try and catch you Wally while trying to stay ahead of Keith and then Bacchulum. In the last few laps I tried to fuel safe before giving up and doing a splash and dash. I think a ballast penalty should be in order for whoever said the race is going to be 16 laps.

And accidents happens Dave, if you're Verstappen it happens every second race! I almost destroyed Bacchulum's race with a brain-fade before my last pit-stop.

Would be a lot easier if the GT3 don't insist in circling the track in groups. Spread out guys! I was battling Kcender and coming up behind a group GT3. Decided to be smart and pit letting him lose time overtaking. But ironically I came out behind Dr Dinkum in a LMP and another bunch of GT3's, lost a lot of time.

LMP passes seemed a lot better than last week for me. Only very questionable one was through Stavelot where I saw two LMPs behind so pulled to the right intending to take the inside line and let them around the outside. Kcender went around the outside and whoever he was racing decided to go up in the inside on the curb where I was leaving no room at all. I saw it on helicorsa and moved left a touch but wasn't a good move.

Think I had a bit of contact with you Joe. Another case of diminishing gap!

Its quite challenging, play it safe when overtaking and lose bucket loads of time. Take too many changes and it all end up in tears within the tire barriers. The drivers i raced against, Kcender and Diehard, certainly did a better job than me.

To make it worse I got a 10 second penalty on the last lap, any mercy Wally?!

I'm on of course but no idea what car. Can we copy all the details from the other thread into this one so we just have the one? I had to go looking for it to see what the car choices are.

May I suggest the Corvette 67 for you.

GT3 drivers would need to be positive about which side of the track they going to go after Eau Rouge. The LMP will be doing around 315 on the exit on Eau Rouge and trying to pass GT3's safely will be impossible if we  need to guess which side to go. So pick a side, left or right, it does not matter. As an LMP driver coming out of Eau Rouge you will have to be cautious. My comment was not aimed at you Shameless but the crash with you was the one prompting me to make the comment. Coming up behind you I was going to pass on the right but as you moved over (as is your right to do) it forced me to change decision and pass on the left. The problem was that I could not predict which side you were going to move to.

For me this is where Matthew is very good, probably the best I've raced with. From his car's body language I always know exactly what he is going to do when he is overtaking or lapping me, and thus he makes it very easy to avoid accidents.

As for the Eau Rouge exit. Later in the practice server I came up behind Phil at exactly the same place. He exited on the right and stayed right, meant I had to do all the work to get by but even on full boost at the edge of grip I managed to do it safely. So staying to the right on the optimal line would be best for GT3's in my opinion 

 Now obviously during the race I will not be so aggressive during the maneuver, the practice server is there to test how much we can push the limit. Strangely the accident with Shameless my car was not really affected, bit of loss of speed  but I stayed on track and not a lot of damage. But poor Shamaless's car was spinning like a top in my rear view mirror!

Strange week, came last of the LMP's on Tuesday so a win on Thursday was nice. Thanks to Bruce for car choice, Seanus for the car/tracks and Phil for driving slower than his best

Also have to thank Wally, Seanus and Bacchulum for refusing to stay on track at Stardust.
