I reckon when I can use my left foot to brake again I might be able to get into the 1.06's, but otherwise it's good to see that there should be some close racing.

Good to see XGN owning the top of the table at RSR :) When was the last time you had to update the RSR app Marty? If it seems fairly stable I might start running it again.

It depends how soft your suspension and dampers are, but I normally find that raising the rear slightly will stop the rear end loosing traction mid turn and on exit.  I guess this is because the weight of the car is more gradual in leaning on and off the tyre when there is more room/height to do so.

I hope to run a couple of laps tonight.  I'll let you know what I get to.  I haven't really driven this track or car much before though so I guess there is always room for improvement.

Yep, fun night.  Nothing too serious which was good.  I really liked both tracks in the Zonda.  Blackwood is a great track full-stop though.  I look forward to slip-streaming there with that big straight and the changes in elevation are really nice.

I still want to know who else voted "yes" to kicking Marty.  Highlight of the night! Although I did feel for Dick having been blamed for calling the vote.  It seems Dick was the victim of a witch hunt... maybe Marty called the vote on himself and blamed Dick?

I'll be there as well for a bit of fun.

Here are the on-board videos (the boring parts cut) I recorded for both races.  I was terrible in Race 1 as you'll see...

I think not having such a large difference (well, no difference) in straight-line pace between cars will help.  With the DTM v Group As I think half the problem was having too many cars in the same space going into the first and subsequent few corners, as the DTM's would bunch up to the Group As off the line.  So instead of having 2 or 3 cars battling into a corner there were 5 or 6.

Spectacular start to both last nights races with some biffo.  Unfortunately I got tangled up in the first lap but it made things interesting as I had a couple of decent battles after that.

Second race I managed to avoid the accident at T1 but had to jam on the brakes to avoid the flying E30 with 3 meter long invisible suspension keeping it's wheels on the ground.  I came up behind a group of cars and miss-judged how early one of them was going to brake and gave him a tap into T1.  It was a red car which I thought was Rolz so I kept going after I saw him go past me, but watching my video it was someone else!  So sorry for whoever that was (can't remember the name).  The rest of that race was fairly standard afair, trying to catch Darren and another DTM.

I have videos of both races, so I'll do a quick edit and post them up in the next day or 2.

Thanks for a great season Wally.  It's the first full season of sim racing I've ever done and it was great fun racing with you guys.  Now I look forward to the next one and the casual fun races also.

I'm into it for sure!
I better go reserve this season to give some others a go.

You've been an active member who is committed and turned up for every race (I think).  I see no reason why you have to go reserve, unless you want to?

Yes thanks Wally.

Well done Darren, well deserved.

Good to see Achilles Heels taking out the constructors.  That's the one that earns you the money isn't it Wally?

Another one I'd add to the list of decent small track mods is Newbury.  Although there is a large bump in the road before 1 or 2 of the corners which seems a bit too much.  Great mod otherwise though.

Just remember our arrangement Dick.  The one that you DON'T take out has "Guybrush" written on the back wing.  Make sure you scream "Allah!" over the mic into that first corner.

I haven't really practiced this track much lately, been too interested in the other mods and testing them out.  If I can get into the 2.02's I'll be a happy chappy.

I just came back from the Philippines in March.  Went to an island called siquijor, was great.

Tsukuba has 18 pit bays according to the in-game description Wally.  Would that be enough?

Just took a video of a lap in the 1M:

Can anyone tell me how to embed YT videos?  I highlight the link and click the YT button but it keeps saying invalid link when I post???
