Triple monitors do look pretty awesome! I'll have one of these rigs one day, once my kids are grown up and moved out so that I have the space  ;D

That's how it worked for me ;)

Wow.  That puts my 20 year old wooden desk, single monitor, and office chair to shame.

How much do you think the whole rig has cost?  Or not if you don't want to say. :)

Dammit... and here I was thinking you were plugged in Matrix style for your alien skillz... goes to show you can't throw money at talent or skill.  :'(

Cost of the setup is still heaps cheaper than being a car enthusiast and dumping money into that.

All the crashes cost digital ego credits and limp to pits or worse an exit to pits.

I'm still waiting to see whether I go for Oculus Rift or triple monitors...

That setup must be immersion plus though.  A lot of fun by the looks.

VR is definitely the future, once the software supports it properly.

Yeah I've also been thinking that, could be amazing, then I'm all good with the pretty simple stand I already have, and can just get one of the race style office chairs and sit anywhere  8)

Yeah I had the DK2 and for LFS it was very well done support was tops.

For AC the resolution wasn't sharp enough for me... plus you really want some sort of HUD.
Well I do anyway.

Being in the car was epic, but you still want to see laptimes, fuel/laps left

I sold it and went back to 3 screens and then bought the desk/cockpit.

I'm waiting to see what AC puts in as proper support as off the forums it was half hearted... but that was 3+months ago...
Might have changed since then.

BTW - got the Beta of simvibe commander 4 and AC support is awesome. Just have to work out how to add rear traction loss, but feeling the road and ripple strips through the chair feels amazing...
