Derek Spears Design New Pedals Available for Pre-Order
« on: March 30, 2015, 10:57:00 AM »
I'm not sure if you guys haunt his site as much as I do but today they announced the new pedals are available for pre-order.
Yes, they are expensive but these will last a life time and considering how good they are I personally think it's money well spent.

Here's the blurb

We've revised the pedals significantly!
What you see in the photos below is our continual effort to refine and improve sim racing pedals.  Customer feedback from a year of production has driven the improvements.

The DSD Professional Grade Sim Racing Pedals are now enhanced with a totally new throttle arm and spring assembly.  Doing this eliminates the need for any base plate, allows for a much more tidy pedal package and gives a throttle arm strong enough to stand up to eons of cycling.  This is indeed the enhancement everyone has been waiting to see.

This new assembly also means that you can adjust the throttle-to-brake spacing from either the Standard Wilwood spacing of 3.62" or you can move the throttle arm outward another 1.24"/29mm and have nearly proportional spacing from clutch to brake to throttle.  We will ship the pedals to you configured with the "Wide Spacing" and if you wish to return to the stock spacing, we will include the parts necessary.  You will also see below the photos a render off the back plate showing the two positions.

Note that there are a number of parts not included in these photos such as the new wire harness assemblies for the throttle and clutch as well as the circuit board mounting method we will be using.  These areas have also been improved substantially and make the pedals one, complete, out of the box component system developed to give you maximum enjoyment.  There is no hesitation to say that you will be thoroughly impressed when you receive you set!

Pre Ordering Instructions
You want pedals and we want you to have them!  We are taking pre-order deposits to improve the ordering process to ensure that everyone who wants a set of our pedals will receive them.  Pre-ordering will run up to April 3rd, 2015.  This allows everyone to get into the process and allows us to have the best facts so we can supply our process with enough stock and make enough parts so that no one is left out.

Once pre-orders have closed everyone will then receive a link back here to the DSD Site to complete their final payment and finalize their order.  All new pedal orders will ship no later than Tuesday, May 19th, 2015.
